I have seen reports on the net that they are holding a Saudi national in connection with the bombing.

Nobody knows anything for certain at this point.

Sources indicate it was terrorism. Too, it may in fact not be finished. FBI is involved. Arab national being held.

That no one has yet come forward to claim the attack there are serious concerns of more to come.

kinda hints to me to not be international terrorism....what group doesn't want to take the responsibility of being able to pull off an attack on american soil?

Hello all. Just returned home from a fourteen hour shift. We are on extremely high alert here in NYC. I'm going to throw this out there: take it which ever way you want to. Trusted friends in various sectors telling me that this entire situation (Financial markets, Gold, North Korea, Syria, Iran and Terrorism here at home.) are all part of a well timed and orchestrated plan. TPTB have apparently decided that the time is ripe for what is about to transpire. Watch the markets, middle east and Asian situation closely over the upcoming days and weeks. Make sure you guys are prepped!!! It's not like we haven't been expecting this!!! Stay away from large crowds if possible! They are looking for body counts!!!

Ditto, Steve. Was out of pocket all day, we heard about the bombing from one of my husband's employees. I'm trying to catch up with it all.

Over the years, I've learned to trust my gut feelings and was coming here to post almost the same thing you did Steve, without the confirmation. You just gave that to me, thanks, I think.

Now would be a good time for "whoever" to stage anything they want. We're all watching Boston and many people are scared again. Really scared. Mil people/families, remember the things you learned. Remember all of the stupid AFN commercials about staggering your driving routes, reporting and staying away from unaccompanied packages, and like Steve said, stay away from crowds and big events as much as possible. Most of all, DO NOT LET FEAR RULE YOU! Seriously. Do everything you have to, to keep it at bay. Even if it means unplugging the tv and staying off of here. Don't become consumed with it, it'll eat you alive. I'm speaking from experiance, unfortunatly. I'm not afraid, I'm resolved. It can be done.

The Saudi Arabian man who is reportedly in police custody following the Boston Marathon bombing was chased and tackled by bystanders shortly after the blast, according to CBS.

Hey guys, I'm reading the posts talking about Boston having the drill today around the marathon. People are wondering how the police missed the person placing the bombs. Tell me if I'm way out of line here, ok? What if it wasn't a drill? What if they had intel, but it was wrong? Just another of my silly thoughts.

Why were the trash cans out anyway? I thought all the big events like this were locked down, like New's Year Eve is in NYC. Idk, but that's what they did for several years after 9-11. Did they get too comfortable?
