Why are you an Atheist?

Means i don't know everything and accept i can't make such claims. I don't believe in anything but i don't say it as an absolute truth.

Yes but Being an atheist means you're absolutely certain no Gods exist. But without having access to all the knowledge no one can be truly certain.

"well, there might be a God, but i don't believe in him".
and that in no way, shape or form can be any kind of Atheist.
rather, such a person would clearly fall in the category

why do religious people care what non-believers think? are they concerned that, actually, because atheism and secularism is on the rise; that oops, somehow, possibly they could be wrong?

if not, then shut up, keep believing and leave the rest of us alone with your 'questions'. you are not interested in 'why?', you are only worried that you are wrong

otherwise youd be confident enough to wend your own sweet way to heaven, utterly secure in your faith, that, after all is 'unquestionable and unshakable'

& lastly, i know ALOT of people who are athiest. & guess what? they are lovely, well adjusted, beautiful, life embracing humans. not perfect of course, but they have my respect.

First problem, you don't look at the secret society rich guy influence on religious institutions(and every other aspect of life) and how they use religion to justify wars and to make religions look bad at the same time. How they are also in control of what is taught in the churches. Second, you can only see things as a human. It won't change your opinions, just you have the wrong reasons for your positions.

I'm an atheist too, but I was first raised in a evangelical pentacostal church/school through 5th grade. Then I was sent to a fundamental baptist school until I graduated. Then I went to a presbyterian college. Then I realized what a bunch of bullshit it all was. Then I started studying other things, like the occult, where I learned about the kabbalah and how it relates to the Torah. Then I started learning some Hebrew so I could try to make sense of the book of Genesis. Then I learned about the word 'Elohim'. And somewhere along the way, among other things, I stumbled across Genesis 3:22.

Dear bible thumpers: please turn to Genesis 3:22 and read it. Read it and then re-read it. Wipe your eyes, then read it again. Scratch your head. Check the verse again, just to make sure you read it correctly. Put down the KJV and see if it says the same thing in the NIV. Throw away the NIV and pick up the original Hebrew text. No matter which translation you use, you're going to encounter the same problem:

YOUR OWN BIBLE SAYS THAT GOD IS SEVERAL ENTITIES.

Genesis 3:22a - And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of US, to know good and evil:

Checkmate, you lose. What you've been calling "god" all this time is actually a group of beings called the Elohim. They are creators, much the same way that humans have become creators. In a manner of speaking, they were scientists. They weren't all holy and they weren't all evil. They aren't gods in the sense that they rule the universe. They are only gods in the sense that they made you.

Excellent example there of the meaning of Elohim, i have always believed the Elohim were a race no different from us, as you said Scientists from another world, it doesn't exclude the possibility of spirituality and the godliness we all have inside of us, but the one true God bullshit that has been fed to them is all a lie.

If we create intelligent lifeforms with emotions, would we not then be the Gods of the creation?

Each day our godliness rises, our technology advancements allow us to do what we believe is impossible, and one day we will know the truth about our existence but throwing away the quest to true knowledge in exchange for believing in a God and treating yourself like a slave to him in worship is stupid, rise up my brothers and sisters, realize the true power within every one of you.

We are Gods, just like the Elohim were our Gods and we should be thankful that they gifted us with life.
