Benedict Changes Conclave Rules And now since we are at GLP we should look at this from another point of view. According to the church all this rumours of depravation and economic mismanagement are attempts to influence the result of the Conclave. Quoting: monfra As a direct result of this accusations Cardinal O'brien will not be part of the Conclave which will mean the UK church will have no say on whom will be the next Pope. Cardinal O'brien could be considered a conservative member of the Conclave and his vote wouldn't have gone to a candidate who was a reformer. He is of the ilk of the salient Pope, steady as it goes. Surely he wouldn't have voted for a non-European as next Pope when a said non-European I mean westerner. This is the Conclave that is meant to choose Peter the Roman the last Pope, the false prophet, the shepherd that will witness the destruction of the Rome and the church. Evil might be working behind the scenes and then again it might all be bullshit. Still interesting times and a process well worth keeping an eye on. Thought provoking... Absolutely - and the best thing to do is keep an open mind and don't make assumptions. Wait until this plays out and make your own determinations based on the facts. Suffice it to say, all of this happening now is just flat out weird. Agreed, I've been watching. Lots to see out there. Check out the link in my signature, all kinds of observations on there. Tell me what you think: Quoting: Rising Son Thread: The Last True Church Of Jesus Christ On Earth Is One Of The Heart Also, I'm not sure if you have ever heard this before, but the definition of a priest is a man for others, according to Pope John Paul II. You clearly fit the bill, my friend :-) I looked over the thread you posted and I agree -- I think that the Church is not as closed and exclusive as it once was, Vatican II changed a lot of that. I do believe Vatican II was necessary; what I rebel against are that many of the reforms were taken too far. That is one thing I feel called to address. I actually have not heard that definition before, but I am quite honored to be viewed in that fashion. :-) Help the animals rescued from the Zanesville tragedy on October 18, 2011! One man can make a difference, do not be disheartened :-) Quoting: Rising Son Thank you. I will do whatever God calls me to do -- I feel primarily called to address some of the liberalism that has crept into the Church after Vatican II, and specifically to preach on the importance of confession. Only 6% of practicing Catholics go to confession, and that is a statistic that really concerns me. You should join The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in Denton, NE. I had my theological differences too, and followed the well-trodden path towards enlightenment, gnosticism, etc. Needless to say, it is a path that goes nowhere except round and round in the circles they so love. I am amazed at the changes being brought about in me, since my return, the state of consciousness I wanted for so long to acquire from within me, is now bestowed upon me from above. The sacraments really are food and medicine for the soul! The fact that men continue to be called to be priests and respond from their hearts and minds is not only incredible from the world's view, but are a sure sign of God's presence on the Earth, in these days of so much darkness and estrangement from God. |

Hebrews 9:15-28 KJV And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. [16] For where a testament is , there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. [17] For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. [18] Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. [19] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, [20] Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. [21] Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. [22] And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. [23] It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. [24] For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: [25] Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; [26] For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. [27] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: [28] So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Mark 2:10 KJV But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Romans 8:6-9 KJV 6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Matthew 15:8-9 KJV 8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Acts 5:29 KJV Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. "The biggest sign from God, to let us all know that man can never be God?
