Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46260961 You don't get it? Regardless of the price of bread today, it will still go up tomorrow. Whether they call it inflation, taxation, or any other random name. By "borrowing" another trillion dollars, coupled with obamacare, everyones taxes are going up. Instead of paying a tad more for a loaf a bread, you will now pay a tad more for everything. |

Word is the house Tea Party will vote no but enough Dems will vote yes to make it pass The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help. |
recollector User ID: 26964049 United Kingdom 10/16/2013 01:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe because they KNOW it won't pass in the House? The vote was delayed until sometimes AFTER 3 p.m., when the GOP leaders will MEET to DISCUSS the Senate deal. Not to VOTE on it. So, the House will vote after 3 p.m. May be 4 p.m. or 11 p.m. At this point , the Senate deal DO NOT HAVE THE VOTES NEEDED TO PAS in the House. If they had them, the bill would have been voted already. Last Edited by Recollector on 10/16/2013 01:28 PM |

They don't want to, but if they get enough pushback from the American people it is possible. At which time, they will kick the can down the road by a few months and we will be right back in the same place. Sooner or later, it's going to happen. It's only a matter of time. You cannot get around the laws of economics. |
