We'll see what happens with her threads, but I think keeping a parallel thread showing the science that Nancy chooses to ignore is a good idea, too.

Sorta tangential -- Was the TERRIBLE movie "IMPACT" broadcast where you were tonight? It had SO much bad science in it I laughed out loud several times.

Seems the Moon was hit by a brown dwarf (sound familiar?) which lodged in its core and thus the Moon was spiraling down. In the twenty minutes I watched it, they sent a whole bunch of nuclear missiles into a big crack on the Moon to...wait for it...break it into smaller pieces. Because that would certainly solve the problem....

Anyway, it was REALLY bad. But I expect there will be some crowing about TPTB letting out drip and drabs of information to slowly inform the public that they've been halted in orbit for five or so years.

Sometimes the discussion on Nancy thread yields some cool, meaningful, stuff (though rarely from the believers). There were the discussions on the impossibility of accurate starwatching and astrophotography with the Earth's PX caused figure eight wobble every six hours or so (which led to Hap's excellent discussion about his photos...)

Besides more talk on GOTO telescopes, there was Nancy's entire rejection of astronavigation, including the ancient Hawaiian techniques that have no way to compensate for a supposed halted Earth... (She went so far as to say that modern Hawaiians duplicating the journey were FAKING it... which, I would advise, not to say to their faces...)

There were the startrails photos and timelapse photos of the sky moving normally, which again weren't addressed (and Nancy went so far as to call Startrails a facility, and never admitted her error...) and when believers are asked to use such techniques to photo the wobble they utterly refuse...

There are others I am forgetting -- I am sure other posters can remind me. Wasn't there an old list of things the Zetas would not address, sort of like the infamous #78/68 list?

And it's amusing that the believers are using their precious time on that largely debunker-free thread, now seven pages long, to CONTINUE to discuss debunkers, rather than discuss the merits of PX, which is what they claimed they wanted to do...

I don't believe they ever really addressed the accuracy of ancient solstice markers like Stonehenge and that thing in Ireland, in spite of the wobble - some cool pics came out of that, but no explanation beyond "it's a conspiracy."

The only answer Nancy ever gave is that the Zetas tilt the earth to ensure that these events still happen so we have the so called "element of doubt" and don't go crazy. Of course this is preposterous, but apparently a few people like Andrew and Burkettgirl find this to be a sensible explanation.

There are some structures, like the solstice device in Xochicalco, Mexico that are so precise that they would just plain not work if the alignment of the earth and sun were even slightly off. What I don't get is that if the Zetas can move the earth to simulate the seasons and hide that the earth is stalled in the "September position" for the past few years, why can't they just move us out of the path of Planet X?. But such are the inconsistencies of Nancy's planet X fantasy.

What's the idea in breaking the boycott for one day after the chat hours?

She won't be answering any questions anyway. She won't be answering anyone's questions after her official chat hours and she won't answer any debunkers' questions no matter when and where those are posed.

And, debunker chat mixed with zetatalk chat for 24 hours would give Nancy and her followers advantage. That is if we think that it matters somewhat how many readers or posts her threads have here. I myself couldn't care less about how popular some thread at glp is or isn't. But in order to make her followers realize that she might not be as popular as they think, it's good if her threads don't get the attention that they seem to crave. Also, informing the cult followers beforehand of our fighting strategy and methods isn't very wise. If we're at war with this cult it's better be done with style and wit.

There's a very good reason to boycott Nancy Lieder's threads because she has set her own rules there. Her self-made rules "justify" her actions in them: ignoring questions and facts, deleting posts, banning posters. She practices dictatorial cencorship and that alone is a good reason not to support her threads in any way.

I personally have nothing against the followers of zetatalk or whatever. They don't have that power to act here as they please, since they're not the moderators.

Right! Really, Nancy's made much of the evil government coverup to keep people from finding out about Planet X, but the Zetas are by far the worst offenders in that department. I remember a Venus transit incident a little while ago where they actually shoved Venus around in the sky so that we wouldn't notice it being out of place.

If it turns out we're all wrong and the pole shift comes unexpectedly, it's basically going to be their fault for covering it up - anyone want in on a class-action lawsuit?

The part that I don't understand is, at one point, the number of replies is *higher* than the page view. Which I don't think is possible with GLPs software.

It looks more to me like the other silly pictures people put up, with text sort of pasted in an attempt to be funny.

The summer excuse seems similarly silly to me. It's the summer, so I don't have to know about the incoming planet? Do incoming planets only mess with Earth in the Winter?

It would be interesting to see a real chart with the real numbers. I don't think that chart is it. However, I can't help but notice people accepting it or rejecting it out of hand without examining it more closely, depending on their point of view. And, I think, if an accurate chart was made, that the believers would NOT like the results one whit...

16) When asked for examples of when Nancy was right, especially when pertaining to astronomical claims and predictions, "User" spewed insults and ran away.
17) "User" has seen this list several times and has yet to dispute anything on it. Instead, he spewed insults and ran away.
18) "User" doesn't believe that vaporized water contaminated with arsenic was responsible for the illness in Peru after a meteor strike. When asked what HE thought caused it, he spewed insults and ran away.
19) Nancy claims that the Minneapolis bridge collapse was caused by some "stretch zone." When asked for evidence of this, "User" spewed insults and ran way.

21) "User" claimed that many, many people are seeing the moon "not right." When asked for links of these claims or some form of evidence to support the claim that the moon is "not right," he spewed insults and ran away.
22) "User" claimed that Menow lied when he said the sun is not setting further north each day during the fall months. When asked for supporting evidence, he spewed insults and ran away. (Prof-Rabbit supplied a link showing the sun does not move north during the fall months in the north hemisphere.)
23) "User" demands that "debunkers" provide evidence or, in his words, "to put up or shut up." When "User" is asked to do the same, he spews insults and runs away.
24) Hap sent some photos to Nancy. He never stated what they were or what he believed them to be, instead he asked her what she thought they were. Nancy, and Nancy alone, stated they were photos of "Planet X." When asked which photos are "Planet X" and which ones are just lens flare, "User" spewed insults and ran away.
25) "User" continues to say I've exposed my lies. He has been asked what lies those are and to provide supporting evidence. Instead, he spews insults and runs away.
26) "User" tasked Nighthawk to demonstrate some contradictions from "ZetaTalk." Nighthawk came up with four. "User" made a weak attempt to explain them away, then spewed insults and ran away.
27) Hap provided a link to a website with photos of his equipment. "User" claimed it was all fake, spewed insults and ran away.
28) Hap's contact information is provided on the website, but instead of using it to verify Hap is who he claims, "User" spewed insults and ran away.

39) "User" presented an article describing how GPS satellites might fail within a year. He claimed that Nancy and the "Zetas" predicted this. However, "User" failed to post the whole article which stated the reason for the potential failure is due to neglect and failure to replace key satellites...not because of some "rogue planet" as Nancy claimed. When this was pointed out to him, "User" spewed insults and ran away.
40) "User" claimed that Hap was afraid to answer his questions. Hap said he would answer any question "User" had. Instead of asking any questions, "User" spewed insults and ran away.
41) "User" claimed I tried to become a police officer and failed the psychological examination. I never tried to become an officer. When asked for evidence to back up his claims, User spewed insults and ran away.
42) "User" claimed I couldn't hold a job as a dispatcher. I was neither fired or laid off. I resigned when my wife accepted a job in Colorado. When asked for evidence to back up his claim I was fired or laid off, "User" spewed insults and ran away.

Talk about obsessed! Soledad just can't stop herself from starting threads to attack debunkers. Most of her contributions lately are nothing more than attempts to bait debunkers into circular arguments. A few weeks ago she was saying that debunkers were like commercials, interrupting the important discussions that bunkers attempted to have on Nancy's threads, and wishing we would just go away. Now that we have done just as she claimed to want, she is still starting threads about debunkers. I would have thought that she would be thrilled to join in the deep discussions of everything related to ZetaTalk instead of trying to provoke an argument with the absent debunkers, since we are such a pain in the ass! All she is doing is upstaging Nancy and making a fool of herself in the process.
