I've been here at GLP longer than YOU and longer than Grant. I was here when he was here as well. Nice try! Well then, you must certainly be dumber than a box of rocks if you've been here that long, seen all of Nancy's 100% failures, and STILL hang onto her skirt tail like a whipped puppy. Thank you for clarifying that for us. |

The link is to a news story -- nutty doomsday cult leader dies, and before the body cools a dozen church members are claiming to channel her, yadda yadda yadda. It's a fascinating look into the demise of a group very muchg like ZT, except of course that ZT is much much smaller and its members never got the kind of press the devotees of 'Mother Prophet' did. Check out the final quote, in which the daughter of the dead leader tries to point out that yeah, the church leader might have been a complete loon, but what she did was, on the whole, 'good for the world.' Sounds a bit familiar, huh? See also FAIL, EPIC. [link to news.yahoo.com] |

I tried to read a couple of her books twenty years ago and found it impossible to take them seriously - on top of that they were EXCEPTIONALLY poorly written, and extremely painful to read. About as entertaining as reading insurance contract boiler plate legalize. Still - makes me feel OLD to hear of her passing. Time waits for no one. The best advice we can give on this matter is to read with your heart as well as your mind. Follow the flow, let the nuances lie unanswered and unchallenged in your mind. Treat this as a garden you are walking through for the first time, and experience it fully without trying to categorize it! Much of what you will learn will be processed in your subconscious, and influence your conscious mind later. If you must dissect each phrase, and correlate it with each piece of information taken from another source, you will trash much of what you could otherwise gain. Live in the gray, not always insisting on black and white and strict compartmentalizations. ZetaTalk: Oahspe Note: written Apr 15, 1997. [link to www.zetatalk.com] ZetaMax |

Returner User ID: 997 United States 11/06/2009 01:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Luser is always so upset when we debunkers POST IN OUR OWN THREAD. Which of course begs the question what is Luser doing here? The answer, of course, is that he's seeking attention. and he certainly can't get that in the ZT threads because the only people posting there are Nancy and a few of her favorite sock-puppets. Oh, and Luser, don't forget those NAMBLA dues! You don't want to have to petition to get back in...again. |
KeepingItReal User ID: 553451 Canada 11/06/2009 02:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Do you ever post anything other than personal attacks, Luser? It would be nice for once to see you engage in discussion instead of spewing insults, innuendo and bravado. Is there nothing in the massive body of Nancy's work that you can talk about without making it personal? How about you answer some of the questions on the list of shame. No of course you won't. Talk about obsessive! Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. |

KeepingItReal User ID: 553451 Canada 11/06/2009 02:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone want to bet that Nancy is working hard today preparing a prewritten explanation for yesterday's military base shooting, something that she can claim proves Zetas right again? I bet she knows all the inner thoughts and motivations of the shooter, after all, wherever there are dead and injured, you will find Nancy trying to cash in on it. I hope she proves me wrong. The victims and their families deserve some respect, but that hasn't stopped her in the past. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. |

I made it last week using bison for the people in my wife's department for their Halloween potluck. They devoured it. Fortunately, my wife put a little aside in a container before she took it to work. If any of you want the recipe I can post it here. A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

Quoting: The CommentatorYes, Yes, YES!!!!!! PLEASE!! Okay...this is what I do for the crock pot. Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a skillet. (If using beef you can probably skip this step since beef isn't as lean as bison) Cook 2 to 2 1/2 lbs ground bison (or beef...any meat will work) in the skillet Halfway through the cooking, add 1 cup chopped onion (half of a good sized onion is really close) and 1 or 2 minced cloves of garlic. In the crock pot or slow cooker, add: 1 quart of water 3 Tbsp beef base 1 8 oz can of tomato paste 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp cayenne powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 1/2 tsp sugar 1 1/2 tsp cumin 3 Tbsp chili powder 1 can stewed tomatoes...anywhere between 14 to 16 oz will work (in this batch I tried chopped fire roasted tomatoes) 1 15 oz can ranch style beans Once all that has been combined, add the cooked meat and let it sit on low for half the day. You should be good to go. Last Edited by Circuit Breaker on 11/06/2009 06:48 PM A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

I found out it was the tomatoes I used. They have more salt in them than just regular stewed tomatoes so check the ingredients when you buy. You might want to cut back on the salt or eliminate it altogether. Last Edited by Circuit Breaker on 11/06/2009 06:59 PM A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |
