I suggest praying for relief from the obsessive desire to continue in the insanity of addiction, and checking into a local rehab, and consider a 12 step program. |

It metabolizes in your body in the same fashion as alcohol and heroin. If you're truly that desperate, you will do it. I know someone will call BS. I speak from experience. I got off of prescribed Klonopin after about 2 years after getting sober off alcohol and that was absolute hell in a handbasket. Legs involuntarily shaking, body shaking, horrible anxiety. Even called paramedics once because I thought the withdrawals would kill me. OP, if you are serious long-time heroin user, I would strongly suggest being in contact with somebody who knows you are detoxing in case you need medical care. Of course, you don't want them to put you on anything, but sometimes the DTs can be deadly. Good luck. You will NEVER regret it if you go all the way. So many, many, many, many, many great, awesome, unspeakable revelations happen. It truly is a grand awakening. Blessings to you for even attempting it or wanting to. That's all you have to have... you just have to want to. There is somebody looking over you who will help you with the rest whenever you choose to ask. |

Imagine how early man conquered Europe even with all the dangers out there and no technology, they traversed across freezing cold lands in animal skin, hunted to survive, fought other predators to stay alive, they are your ancestors. We can all achieve anything we set out to do and this heroin crap is what is stopping you. |

Staying hydrated is important. Weed can be tremendously helpful. So can L Carnitine [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] DISCUSSION: Acetyl-L-carnitine acted as an effective antihyperalgesic agent for relieving opiate-withdrawal hyperalgesia in animals and displayed clinical efficacy on other withdrawal symptoms such as muscular tension, muscular cramps, and insomnia. Considering its tolerability, the excellent side effect profile, the absence of significant interactions, and the lack of abuse potential, ALC can be considered as a useful pharmacological adjunct in the treatment of opiate withdrawal. Follow package instructions, too much can make you feel ill as well. (I take this and find it helpful. Please do not consider this medical advice. May cause a rash and so forth) |

Also, take some Milk Thistle or some other herb to help your liver. I garuntee it'll acclerate your withdrawal so you can feel normal again faster. |
