sure, i agree on that!

I'm glad we can agree. it just sickens me when you have people in a position of power and they choose to do such INSANE and disgusting things. this can be said about some of our worlds 'prestigious' institutions.

do you believe she was encountered by an invisible human tormenting her?

I don't know--I haven't seen dark waters--my daughter says its freak'n scary--so I really want to see it--I just never go out and rarely watch movies or tv unless its disney (for the grandbaby) or something scientific or interesting history stuff..

All I know is that I have watched that video several times and the first time I saw it and each time --she looks like she got clock'd upside the head and that someone grabbed her wrist and then forced her to go--and the last few times of viewing -- I would say it looks like after getting hit she is feeling for the elevator or for something

well.. if you want to know what i believe and why at all, i stated it in the other thread on page 1 first post.
but right now i go with those 3:

- video was edited, so as arkadiy found out, enough time for 3 other people to do something which are not on the vid
- whomever edited the video must be hotel staff and has something to hide

- this video is not showing EL. it is just a random asian girl making a horrormovie-style video with friends and later, the other participants are cut out.

- the invisible man theory we brought up 2 days ago on the other thread

all 3 make it nescessary to edit the video and pixel out time/date and as well, to not mention when this video was made or who released it at all.

but that´s just another bit of information the media is not willing to tell us..

besides on which floor the girl stayed and in which hotel at all (her tumblr vs media) and why interpol is involved.

I noticed in the 3:59 second version of elevator that after she leaves tot eh left and the door closes, there looks to be some kind of reflective movement on the right wall and the wall where there are the buttons.

Something is moving in that elevator but not on camera and in the metal wall reflection.

after really thinking about it, and just repeating certain moments of the video, there is someone there who is communicating with her. at 1:30 she re-enters clearly distressed, not liking at all whats taking place. immediately after finishing pressing all the buttons, she just walks straight out, then acts in a way people are saying is strange, or that clearly she's on drugs. I don't know what truly happened but this is not normal behavior. it would of been clear to ME if she was on intoxicating drugs, and to me she was not

I dunno, just watched the first video for the first time. I've skipped over everything about this story so far. Interesting though...

It looks like she's possessed by some outside force. In the short video at 1:48 it looks like she's making a hand motion like she's trying to swim. And then her body is found in a water tank on the roof. Could be somewhat related.

Or she's just on some crazy hallucinogenics and thought she'd take a swim in the hotel's water ducts. Not sure how she got access though.

I had read that so I watched the walls and it really looks like something/someone casting shadows. Although the girl never acts as if there is anyone in the elevator with her.

at several points it looks like a shadow is pushing the buttons on the panel--I went back over that several times to be sure -- you just have to watch the panel as the elevator continues

she does appear to act 'strange', but I think if she was on something intoxicating it would of been more apparent. she has enough sense to use an elevator correctly, yet wants to go take a swim in a water tank at the hotel? in my mind it's clear she was dumped there

So this video was posted by the LAPD to illicit information from the public?

Where is the video from the inside of the hotel? All hotels have security cameras in the hallways. All of them.

It definitely is a mystery.

If you look at the right wall of the elevator right near the buttons, I see what looks like a face. Not sure if it's just the lighting in the elevator thats portraying this image but it goes away and comes back from time to time.

Maybe I'm just tripping. Anyone else notice facial like features on the lower right side of the elevator wall?

i wonder that as well..

we´re just fed a bit to wrap our heads around, what does not make sense at all (like this video),
without getting the least bit of useful information eg where she stayed at all; but we do get this crappy, altered video without date/time.

what do you think happened ?

Security was in on whatever happened to her, because they would have seen her in the elevator acting odd and if the security/hotel mgmt had not been colluding together someone would have gone to check on her personally. I believe that also explains why the elevator door wouldn't shut while she was in it.

I'm perplexed by the fact that this case hasn't shown a lead in the media. It seems so obvious to us who would be behind this, but it seems like its ages til the authorities get a clue. Which is why this whole thing should be questioned

Conclusion:

Ms. Elisa Lam is playing a game of hide and seek (or something similar) in this video. And although at times she displays some anxiety, there is no indication of fear. There is definitely an element of play present here. It is of course also possible that narcotics are influencing her behavior. Of particular importance is she is putting herself on sexual display. While what is seen here may have no connection with her demise - if the events in this video occurred just before her disappearance, it strongly suggests that the person to whom she is attracted may have knowledge of, contributed to, or be responsible for her death.

She gets in and presses ALL the floor buttons. If I were running from someone I would do the same so they wouldn't know which floor I was stopping and exiting the elevator at.

At about 3:25 the door closes and there's 4 floor indicator lights lit, then two of them go out one at a time and real fast. The door reopens about 3:40 with the orange window covering and two lights lit. From what I saw, the video would have to been edited because the panel would show three lights, then two a lot slower. Like frames from the video were missing. Old elevators do not move that quickly.

Also, how many floors are in that building? Four lights lit means she was on the fourth floor and the elevator was going down because the top two lights went out.

its amazing how so many things can have a connection, for instance the movie dark water, someone mentioned the name of the girl is "cecilia" and then the other characters name is "dahlia" now the black dahlia was know to hang out at the cecil hotel.

the connection with the movie is creepy.
