what "predictions" do you even want? its a damn comet. Its electrical, but its not going to do anything different than any other comet, other than give us a pretty light show. All the "cataclysm" was caused by giant planetary instabilities and a huge change in system dynamics thousands of years ago. The system is STABLE NOW. The comet is from WITHIN the system, not from OUTSIDE. There will be no major discharging or destruction, just some pretty comas caused by movement and interaction with other objects thru the EM field (already seen in the case of Mars.)

I want predictions as outlined in the OP.
Something unique to EU/EC that doesn't duplicate mainstream models. If you're just going to state, 'It will do pretty much what conventional science says it will do except the cause isn't gravity it is a giant invisible elephant (or electricity).' then that doesn't even qualify as an hypothesis.

You seem to be saying that the EU 'model' no longer applies in mature systems. That is a unique interpretation of EU/EC which I'm sure will get you called a "shill" by the EU proponents.

As far as the rest of your post, you are presenting statements about causality of well known cometary phenomena which are already explained by conventional science, not predictions.
That discussion would be for another thread as it would require a boatload of evidence equal to the libraries full we have from conventional science.
In fact, I can think of no time in history when a "new theory" replaced an "old theory" when it did not provide any new predictive power. It has never happened.

I'm looking for unique Predictions.
No evidence required.
Just predict something that ISON does or causes that is in contravention to conventional science and is modeled by EU/EC. You will need evidence that the effect actually occurred.

For instance - the "Mars developed a cometary coma" loon-drool which has no evidence except a RubeTube looney with a cell phone and an ex cathedra declaration by not-a-scientist J. McCanney, masseuse without a telescope.

In other words... it is a delusion from crazy people.

At this stage of the game the only unique prediction for ISON which is in contravention to mainstream science is the above.

It shouldn't be included because I sincerely doubt the EU/EC "scientists" would endorse it, but I'm grasping at straws here.

Won't someone schooled in Electric Universe or Electric Comet ideas step forward and present a coherent prediction unique to those concepts?

Something along the lines of:
"ISON will _________ in keeping with the EU paradigm that ________."
It must be unique and unusual behaviour since normal behaviour is, well, normal.

I'm not a scientist, but there is a lot in the EU model that makes a lot of sense to me, especially when taken with some of the mythical stories and legends of the past. I think its foolish to think we understand what is going on thousands of light years away based on terrestrial images and readings. I also agree with EU in terms of the fanciful direction theoretical mathematics has gone in with more unverifiable constructs. I hold strong to things like the correlation between the "squatter man" rock carvings and the plasma recreations done by Anthany Perratt. Our ancestors saw some crazy stuff that they misinterpreted, due to the electrical nature of the cosmos. Plasma is everywhere in space and can't be ignored. THAT SAID... the gravity centric model works, as proven by our technology and space probes, but they are all happening within the stable closed system within the suns plasmasphere. Asteroids and comets and all the planets are within this realm of influence and after the period of cataclsm 10K years ago or whatever, things quickly took on stable positions (due to all the objects stabilizing with each other electromagnetically) and in a stable system, gravity will work as stated by classic models. The small interactions of puny rocks between the sun and planets is not the same as interactions of giant planet or moon sized objects. Comets are working the same as they always have and to expect otherwise in a stable system would be foolish. If something approaches from outside the system we will notice it well before its approach. I appreciate the EU as a look into our origins, or a look into the distant cosmos, but i don't feel it affects day to day life much at all. I totally buy that comets are just asteroids on ellongated orbits, though.

What are your thoughts about,

Comets that originate as a result of a planet or other beeing destroyed.

If Comets and Asteroids are parts of what used to be planets and other celestial objects then most would be just rock and ice, depending on the materials the celestial object was made of.
Unless anyone can state without doubt that a celestial object can not be destroyed then it would seem resonable to assume that any celesttial body with a molten iron core would bring about comets and asteroids which are mostly metal.

So a fraction of the stuff flying around out there is not just rock and gas and ice.

Well, as near as I can tell: you are making the prediction that *something will happen* on or around the 19th. That doesn't seem like much of a prediction -- certainly not an exact one, anyway -- so I believe that the search for a specific ISON prediction that supports the EU theory while casting doubt on the traditional model continues.

It'll be a long search, I expect.

Hi GG, you should know I have no issues with the truth (I received green from you a few days ago because of it). I do not claim to be an expert (not even close), what is happening here is far from talking about a "doom-less" comet. This was made to do nothing but be rude to people that believe differently than him (I was actually laughing at the rudeness - my bad).

There will always be idiots that want to come to this thread and try and prove their point. I was simply pointing out the what I saw and he proved me right.

The title "Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted." does not match what is going on in the thread (from either side)? He doesn't want predictions, he wants to make each person that tries look like an idiot.

I came here because I really wanted to see some folks predictions and laugh about it as I do not believe this is a doom comet. I just want to see a good shooting star show for my kids (as we pass through the tail in Jan 2014 - what is left of it).

I wish there was a thread that would let both sides prove points and at least bring something to the table that can be researched/proven so folks can see the truth for themselves (one way or another).

How would you see a 'visible arc' if space is a near vacuum? Wouldn't you need more particles to conduct those electrons. Are you saying space is not a vacuum?

IF 2012/C1 makes it around the sun and then past us here on earth, it has been mentioned that we will receive a 'double dusting' of very small particles...IF that is the case, wouldn't all the *dust* make the space between the sun and earth more conductive and therefore us more susceptible to a large CME? Not to mention I think we are fully in fluffy now and said is already making *space* more conductive as it is...from what I understand it's not the 1 CME we should be worried about but the *spark that is needed to set off a continuous EMP type event...

Expert John Bortle said "I honestly don't know" when talked about Ison current look. So we have to be open minded and accept that we dont have all the answer about the universe, not even NASA.
