God is all knowing but didn't know war was eminent in Heaven.

A Soul is eternal and feels no pain and the ONLY thing in Heaven are Souls, so how did Lucifer plan on overthrowing a Heaven full of Souls that can't feel pain and can't die? For a war to be possible, there must be a reason and there must be a foreseeable positive outcome in your favor. So how was it possible for Lucifer to plan, execute, and get away with something, when God is all knowing, all seeing, and all the inhabitants of Heaven cannot be hurt nor killed?
