Pretty classic lens flare, particularly as I *think* the one they are identifying as PX moves the opposite direction as everything else as the video continues. Since the motion of the sky is largely due to Earth's rotation, were it *actually* moving that way at that speed it'd leave the Solar System in one *great* hurry.

But if you feel the least apprehensive, you should definitely attend a star party in your neck of the woods. You'll learn a lot, and see the wonder that really is out there, rather than the fantasies of a little old scientifically illiterate lady in Wisconsin.

Thanks for the reply, though I doubt you watched the video, I know a lens flare when I see one and this wasn't a classic lens flare, at the least a very odd lens flare

There was one light source, smaller which rose ( and was accompanied by lens flares ) Followed by the sun.. So what rose before the sun as apparently ( per YouTube ) it was not a full moon or any thing like that.

Also, please don't act as though you know every thing and are infallible, as you are most certainly not. Other wise you would have never been born to begin with

I did watch the video (else how could I have spotted the one moving backward?). I watched it again, and am honestly not certain which one you find convincing.



I didn't see anything that looked remotely like a planet there. Also, given the fact that you could still see stars after the Sun was up, the exposure must be *way* weird. But I will let people who know more about optics and photography give their opinions. Mine is simply that it doesn't look that strange to me; and I don't really see naything that looks like a heavenly object.



Now where did *that* come from?

Again, if you get a chance to go to a star party near you, you won't regret it. The first time I saw the Orion Nebula in a telescope was breathtaking -- and the precision of the instruments and the march of the cosmos really altered my perspective forever. It's a very worthwhile experience.

I should by a telescope just to muck around and do some amateur stuff.

And apologies accepted, I skim read your post and missed the *think* so was my mistake.

And, who in their right mind would actually want Nibiru to be real!! Doesn't sound like a fun time.

Go to a star party sometime. You will see stuff like this here. This was through my 10" Dobsonian with a GoTo mount.

Purchasing a telescope can be great fun, but start small. I liked the Meade ETX series -- though I have no idea if that is the current name -- it was a small tabletop GOTO scope, that could give tours, and for only a 3.5 inch made for some *remarkable* viewing, and all for around $300.

There was a book called 'Star Ware' that gave good primers on telescopes, too.

The nice thing about visiting a star party is usually some will have multi-thousand dollar telescopes to look through, and it won't cost you a thing!

There was nothing odd about it and very obviously a lens flare. If it was really a planet, then why doesn't it show up in photos taken from that same time period?

By all means - do. Nancy has been claiming for years that we "debunkers" don't want people looking up in the sky when the exact opposite is true. We've been challenging them for years to do just what you're talking about doing. Sadly, not one of them has ever done so...that we know of anyway. It's possible that some of them have and found out there's no "rogue planet" hovering by the sun after all and, instead of admitting their error, they simply quietly disappeared.
