Recharging the vaper via your cell-phone charging apparatus is so fast and simple - crank your radio to listen to weather or whatever news you can find, and quickly charge the vaper again. Don't even need to worry about matches or lighters! Save those for your fires!

There might be a way to seperate the oil & water (venezuella)...

It would be a mixture of water & oil (raw petroleum)...oil floats on the top of water.

So pour it into a container...let it settle for 15 minutes...siphon from the bottom.

Then filter & boil.

I worked my way down to 3 ciggies and about 20 puffs off an E-cig per day.

Then I stopped both...no ciggies or E-cig.

While the withdrawal symptoms were there...the mental alarm was not.

When the system breaks down. Be aware of tactics that can be used against you or your group. Know what the enemy is capable of doing. Avoid traps and ambushes.

Most maybe in defensive positions, but one needs also to be mindful of offenses that can be used against someone.

Pooka, it sounds like you need a "fall back position".

A hallway is usually a good idea. Where only 1 or 2 could fit side by side...as you shot them, others would have to stumble over them to get at you...shoot them too!

By the time you have 6 or 7 bodies laying there, others can't get past the wall of bodies to get at you. Giving you time to reload.

Think the battle of Thermopylae.

You want to create a "bottleneck" for people to have to pass thru.

Maybe a doorway would create that bottleneck.

My fall back position is at the bottom of my stairs.

Solar would also get fried in an EMP or carrington event...so would a generator.

You need a different one - with a better filter and probably lower nicotine liquid. Try one like I have.

True. Not much point in trying to charge a fried phone.

There are crank flashlights on Amazon that have the plug-in to charge things, also. And an adaptor for your cigaret lighter in the vehicle. Lots of means. You can even get just a solar panel that has the plug-in, a little solar panel. Lots of ways.

Found myself wondering today if there is any advantage in having a flip phone over a smart phone, in an EMP or other power issue. Is it possible a fliphone would come through better than a smart phone?
