Now ask yourself this: Why would companies decide NOT to profit from a GIGANTIC slice of the population? Do they hate money? Companies are not going to intentionally do something that loses a TON of money. This is just common sense. Anonymous Coward User ID: 26795689 United States 11/12/2012 10:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll agree that political correctness is a bit much these days - if someone wants a card with a manger, let them have manger - if someone wants reindeers, let them have reindeers. Don't underestimate sales figures - if a store thinks it will sell, it will offer it for sale - no matter what's on the card. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21363812 BUT, let's get real about Christmas - it's an overlay (hijack) of much earlier pagan celebrations and it was done that way so that the pagans would more easily (in part) convert to Christianity. Does no one study history anymore!!! Kismet Hey Kismet. Thanks for the kind words the other night in that other thread. |

Christmas isn't a Christian holiday. It is a pagan holiday in honor of the demon god Mithras. And there never was a Nativity scene. There were no wise men at the manger. Only shepherds. The astrologers didn't show up until Jesus was a young child living in a house. The story is so full of lies. Jesus didn't even celebrate his birthday. No Jews did that as it was a pagan custom. The pagans had a holyday for Mthras. Christians have a Holy Day called Christmas. The fall at about the same time of year. The Pagans didn't have a Christmas Holy day, they had their own. It's really not a hard concept to grasp. Just like two different people can have a birthday on the same day. John's birthday doesn't cancel out Mary's birthday. |

Pictures are great but the opportunity to send Bible verses listed, whole sections of scripture and all, that is even better. Remember the Bible does say that faith comes be hearing and hearing the Word of God - so downloads some fonts you like put something together to send that you've made. Reading the living breathing word of God is what will pierce their heart and cause them to come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ - pray then after you send them. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 26765836 United States 11/12/2012 10:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look - I don't give a fuck if pagans or anyone else also use the same time period for whatever they might be celebrating - more power to them. The pagans and no one else OWN the calendar. Christians can decide when they want to have their holy days. They don't need to ask pagans, Jews, Hindus or anyone else if the days they choose are all right or not. YHWH decided what his holy days are. Read Leviticus 23. Note that Yeshua was obediant in celebrating THOSE days. Note that the passion week events fulfilled the prophetic aspect of the spring feasts. Christians CAN decide when they want to have their holy days. So could the nations of Israel and Judea. Didn't work out so well for them. Choosing to eat pagan cake with "Jesus" frosting is no different. Cheating bride to broken hearted groom: "It's ok honey, when I'm fucking him, I'm thinking about you." |

Nobody even knows when it is! The pagans perverted Christianity and force everyone to celebrate their pagan x-mass solstice holy day. The pagans brought the Christians into their pagan religion e.g. Roman Catholic was born, not christianity. |

You don't want your kids to celebrate the birth of a man that lived over 2000 years ago, who's image was molded by bored desert dwellers and remolded hundreds of years later by men rewriting a book to form a new world-wide feel-good cult that massacred millions of people? But.. but.. he died for you and I mean it's not as if plenty of people don't die for you daily while they're off fighting a group of corporations bullshit war. Btw.. if you don't believe in him you will burn in an eternal lake of fire. He loves you. Celebrate the man-gods birthday. He was born in a stable, do you know how shitty stables are? |
