So I was in Kmart checking out, the line was a mile long. Kmart saw fit not to open any other registers. As you know it's close to Christmas. On a Saturday. So the cashier's there taking her time, and takes out her fucking cell phone and bitch starts talking to her friend while there tapping slowly on keys price checking every god damned thing and entering it manually into the cash register. So someone in the line asks her "Could you please hurry up, as you can see you have a line here?" she whirls on him and goes "Don't rush me! I'll take my OWN damned time! You wait your ass till I get to you!"

Long story short, I put down my three items rather than wait 2 hours to get to Shaniqua the nightmare cashier and say loudly "Not worth it!" and somehow end up starting a small walkout protest with 11 other people coming with me and Kmart losing a good amount of business including from what I could see a few TVs and RC cars and other big ticket items.

First world problems indeed. We can boil everything down to "always someone worse off" That kid who hasn't eaten in days?

There's another kid in Russia being raped on film half a world away, every day, and kept in a closet when not filming. All for some fat fuck's profit.

Oh yeah, and there's a kid in Africa being skinned alive by his 12 year old comrades in arms because he gave intel on enemy locations to his older brother who happened to be working for the President.

Meanwhile there's a little girl in South America who is pregnant by her uncle and is being forced to carry the baby until it can be c-sectioned safely.

Problems? There's plenty to go around, and always someone worse off. Let's admit that.

Something sounds fishy about this story. OP painting self as hero with exaggerated self gratifying language like "revolution" makes me suspect a narcissist of the highest order. Don't doubt there was a line and probably an employee that didn't now to him or fully recognize the OP's perceived grace in a fashion he would demand. But highly doubt the voracity and the racial name calling stands out. Think there's at best hyperbole here. OP wants to be cooler than he is.

Interesting. I work in telecommunications and many stores are using tablets and smart phones for data and communications and some customers get mad because they think they're texting or using them for personal use. My guess is that something like that happened, there was no overt talking back or swearing by the clerk, and OP made up the story that made him look most cool.

I've noticed employees and even managers acting the same way more and more. They should be happy they have a job, but no...they are starting to go crazy.
