At most, we might tease you about it but we still bite our tongues about what we're really thinking. The reciprocal of that is expecting you to make a sandwich without any hassle. It's not about the sandwich. If we're actually hungry, we'll go make our own damn sandwich. All I'm saying is that to us, something like the amount of time it takes to get ready is entirely optional. No matter how you explain it, we're going to think "Gee, can't she just throw on some makeup and find something to wear in 20 minutes? Wait, why does her mouth need to be open like that just to put on eyeliner? Oh, great. Now she can't decide on an outfit. Yes, you look amazing in that... let's go. Why is she changing again???" Just as making a sandwich seems to be entirely optional to you, certain things you Y-chromosome-deficient beings do seem entirely optional to us but we just accept it. Can't you just humor us the way we humor you? Well I like how you explained it.... I agree with the fourth paragraph... i often do that ... I changed my facial skin care routine and now I spend like 10 -15 minutes scrubbing, cleaning, pore treatment, the proactiv steps, then moisturizing with serum, then regular moisturizer with spf, then eye moisturizer....... and then I spend more time applying makeup but since i don't wear too much makeup I only spend like 5-8 minutes doing it.... then I straighten my hair if i need to do it..... then I apply moisturizer to my arms, legs and torso ........ and then I decide what to wear............ and then i decide what perfume i will wear....................... and then I'm ready ...after i decide what shoes and accessories I will wear. .... But we do all of that so that we can look pretty for you guys and we spend so much time doing it for you and then you want us to make a sandwich ... that's kind of lazy...... why would you even eat a sandwich if you are not hungry anyway? I will make him a sandwich IF I am in the kitchen making one for myself... or if he convince me ...and that is not hard to do.... or if he is coming to my house and calls me .... but if he is in the house with me and he is not doing anything then I would just think that he is lazy. |
