On your own people? That is about the dumbest thing possible. No, the dumbest thing possible is the collective IQ of the mental defectives stroking themselves to their nonsensical, simplistic fantasies about fighting the big bad government. That would also put you into your late 60's in age. I'm no puppy, but I'm not calling anyone a coward either. I was on active duty from 1983 to 1992, then five years in the "guard." I got out early as a SGT First Class (E-7) due to chronic injuries sustained in 1991. I was a medic 91-Bravo and medical platoon sergeant in the 1/156 armor. (I'm now an RN) Yes, we had tanks. Believe me, many, if not most GI's would indeed shoot on Americans. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33285656 let's see how well that works when they see the news broadcast that they just shot their own father or brother. propaganda leaflets work on US Troops just as well as Iraqi troops ;) especially when they includes pics of their dead relatives. I'm not advocating for any of this, I'm just using my objective critical thinking skills and experience to throw some light on this subject. They will set up combat teams geographically - all soldiers from, say, South Dakota will be sent to fight in Georgia. Troops from Compton in L.A. will be going to Tennessee and so forth. They will cut power, fuel and food supplies to any areas that resist. There won't be any newscasts because the FedGov has taken that over. I worked for nine years on active duty in military "Public Affairs" or as they more accurately say psy-op propaganda. You will only get the FedGov's take on things and it will be far from the truth. They will simply gas your ass. incinerate entire towns that resist. Farms. Encampments. You just won't wake up one morning. WTF do TPTB care? Is the UN gonna send in blue helmeted Pakistani's to help the poor besieged Patriots? Look at Syria for a taste of what this could devolve into. If it comes to this, it is a zero-sum game and TPTB plan on winning. You should be 100 percent certain and committed to what you are willing to fight for, 'cause no matter how you slice it, it isn't pretty. Better to stand for something then to fall for everything. There is nothing pretty about any of this we should not even have to be thinking about this . But the fact that we are says something all by it's self. Never did I ever think our country would be so divided on real and important issues. Never did I think our government would try to rule over us like they are royalty. Like they know what is best for us. This is anti-American and it goes against everything we believe in and stand for. Free men have guns and rights Slaves do not! Seams like this whole planet is a prison. I have a bad feeling about all of this... Carbide |

But, the "America of Freedom and Liberty" died a slow cancerous death a long time ago. What we have now is the last gasp of a once proud nation's free citizens. Some of whom believe they can prevail in an armed conflict against the FedGov. I think this is foolish and the centralized Powers will crush all opposition. Quickly and mercilessly. Time may be better spent working on a new political paradigm that can oppose them and beat them at their own game. BTW, no one is coming for our guns. They will implode our economy and bleed us to death financially first. Thanks for a stimulating thread. Out. |
