We used to have manufacturing jobs that allowed those people to maintain a decent living. Those no skill workers add little value to the economy and should be compensated accordingly. Artificially inflating their wage hurts everyone else. As if we don't subsidize them enough already. Don't like it, get some skills beyond those of a pimply faced 16 year old. |

Some idiots are bitching about the minimum wage increasing if that's a bad thing? like the poor save do not desereve it? For real people...? Money does actually grow on trees for those who don't think that is does. It's printed on paper last time I checked fucking iditos lol Of course you have precious jems, metals, gold ect,ect,ect-different forms of currency but "our" monetary system as well as many others too is based on debt and the printing of money until it's completely taken over by computers and then of course it'll all be digitalized in a computer chip based system. We just cut hours like a sonofabitch to make up the difference. In these corporate fast food joints, every cent is tracked. Food costs can be controlled to a point but nothing can be controlled like labor can. They will cut labor hours before they pass the cost along to the customers. Don't forget they have share holders to keep happy and must show an increasing profit year over year. |

You see, having a minimum wage to begin with keeps me from getting my contacts signed. Knowing this alone, is how I know what I'm worth to start. It's not 9 dollars either.
