I see "Anonymous Astrophysicist" appears to have abandoned his thread after getting his ass handed to him numerous times.

So, at this particular point, in figuring out exactly what IDW/A.A is claiming on his thread I remain hopelessly mixed up.

He is claiming that un-updated GOTOs can't track the Moon, because it is moving unpredictably.

But he is also claiming that the Moon is moving unpredictably, except the Mayans predicted it.

Then he has claimed that the Mayans predicted it, but only with eclipses.

He then adds eclipses are occurring as predicted, but only if the predictions are *recent.*

But then he also claims that old books' predictions of lunar and solar eclipses should be off, since the eclipses and lunar motions have recently become unpredictable.

Which brings us back to claiming that un-updated GOTOs can't track the Moon, because it is moving unpredictably.

Am I missing any steps?

So typical for Nancy to jump on speculative YT-vids and twist them.

I always wonder whats going on in her head in such moments:

Oops! My bad. The SDO satellite goes slightly behind the Earth twice a year, around the solstice, causing such a shadow. I should have asked the Zetas!!! (splat) the sound of Nancy falling on her face.

Perhaps the Zetas had known that it is around the equinoxes.

I think that's PX itself! 4-5 o'clock and at 2:00 pm the Ecliptic is straight across or even slightly tilted from uppper left to lower right. Dramatic. Excellent capture! Superb! The vertical line down through the Sun is a reaction of the camera to intense light. It is a common flare. There is also a little red dot that zings around as the camera moves, also a flare. The golden globes are NOT flares.

Years ago someone submitted a photo of a kite and asked Nancy if it was planet x. I think her answer was that it was a moon swirl. She even posted the moon swirl photo on her site with a bunch of other joke photos and those super intelligent zetas didn't tell her they were hoaxes. Some of the people that sent her photos even admitted that they sent them to see if she would check them out before using to fool others. Some of those photos remained on her site for years as evidence of planet x. Some of them might even still be up. Nancy never changes and never learns from her gaffes!
