Thank you. She did evacuate. She is a hard-working, ambitious, gorgeous 25 year old who bought her first home 2 years ago.

She poured money, sweat and blood into fixing it up. Now it is inhabited by toxic floodwaters that continue to rise.

GLP, I copied the comments directly from the Louisiana Cajun Navy's FB page. I don't think that they were really trying to dis First Responders.

However the Cajun Navy are always the very 1st on the scene wading through chest deep water. First Responders must follow government regulations of when they can enter very dangerous areas re downed power lines.

Commenters were also advising that First Responders maybe over whelmed handling 9-11 calls, so Cajun Navy might be a more sensible alternative.

Louisiana Cajun Navy is always willing to rescue & transport pets. First Responders MAY have different rules.

Know that some are always reluctant to leave pets behind, as not all shelters take non-service animals.
