I they do they are fucking hypocrites. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10404177 You guys REALLY need to educate yourselves about this holiday. This holiday belonged to the atheists LONG before the birth of Jesus Christ. In fact, it wasn't even recognized in America as a Christian holiday until the late 1800's and that is because the Catholics hijacked it to get the pagans to convert. Sadly, the pagans converted the believers to THEIR way instead of the opposite. Google Saturnalia! Don't be destroyed for lack of knowledge! |

Target has tons of packages of Christmas cards with the nativity, crosses, Jesus, the star of Bethlehem, etc. They usually have the bulk of their Christmas cards in the special holiday section of the store, not with the rest of the greeting cards. Seriously, walked into Costco, plenty of good sized nativity scene sets and the such on the shelves. I know this is not a Target example, but there is plenty of Jesus themed Christmas items in lots of stores, just need to look. |

[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. [4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: [5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; [6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (KJV)Deuteronomy 4:14-19 And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it. [15] Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the Lord spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire: [16] Lest ye corrupt yourselves , and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, [17] The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, [18] The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: [19] And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Mark 16:16 KJV He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Acts 2:38 KJV Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:6-9 KJV 6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Matthew 15:8-9 KJV 8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Acts 5:29 KJV Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. "The biggest sign from God, to let us all know that man can never be God? Death." - Anonymous |

Celebrating, and joining in the festivities, seems like two different things to me. Even if this xmas is marketed to make money, or personally it is a religious occasion. mrclean User ID: 614979 Switzerland 11/12/2012 06:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why should there be? All who follow Yahweh's Appointed Feast Days know that YahuShua/Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25260732 When you celebrate his birth in December, you are giving glory to the father of this world even if you are unaware of it. Come out of the world, My People! We must live IN the world but we are commanded not to be OF the world. Look into the origins of Saturnalia/Christmas. What you find may surprise you! AC is correct...as Christians we should NOT be celebrating on Dec. 25. It is the PAGAN ritual to celebrate the Winter Solstice. It's the WORSHIP of the SUN GOD. It's Just Aten/Ra/Horus worship repackaged by ROME. We CERTAINLY shouldn't be putting up christmas trees. It was ROME that repackaged the Pagan Babylonian/Egyptian Sun Worship and SOLD it as Christianity. Dec. 25th has NOTHING to do with Jesus. In the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 12, verse 2, it states, "Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:" In this verse it talks about serving false gods under mountains, hills, and in particular, a green tree. If this is not enough evidence that the Christmas tree is not Christian, let us go into detail. In the book of Jeremiah, chapter 10, verses 1-6. it says, "Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the ways of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of Heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them, for the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the work man, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the Palm tree, but speak not; they must needs be borne because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might." THIS is why so many people are disillusioned with Christianity. It's become some perverse thing polluted by the VATICAN with all of their PAGAN rituals. As for 'Santa'...cough cough SATAN...don't even get me started. Anyone that tells there kids a magical flying fatman is delivering there kids presents totally DESTROYS Jesus's command of DOING CHARITY from the heart. Not to mention it is practicing the ways of the HEATHEN and their witchcraft. This entire world is SICK. I'd say 1% of so-called Christians actually read their bible and realize how perverted things are. mrclean |
