i found it very "american", very typical of all stereotypes one can imagine when it comes to a certain kind of tv shows from the US, far to much negativity, far too depressing, the usual endless fighting, firearms galore, militias, people all fighting each other. not what really happens when people get in a real situation like a war, at least when i compare the scenario to what i learned from how people behaved during the war in german cities and on the expuslion trecks from the east.

but, well, interesting show.

Not necessarily. Even during this short, "surgical" portion of the operation, Israel already caused major damage to Hamas in terms of advanced weaponry, infrastructure, leadership and finances.

Part of any ground operation would probably include destroyhing those tunnels by IDF and monitoring Rafah crossing by UN is easily doable.

Would that stop Gaza smuggling completely? No. Israel doesn't intend to starve Gazans -- let them smuggle in Camel cigarettes and medicines and whatnot.

But would that REALLY cut into Iranian Fajr-5 rockets, expensive C4 equipment, and BMW for Hamas bosses? Oh yes, most definately!
