It does seem the odd things are randomized. Quoting: _Obsidian_ Maybe they are setting up an artificial sun and it takes some time to do the stuff... - I don't know at this point everything seems "off" I saw your moon posts and I've noticed how the moon is indeed waxing/waning from the top down. People think I'm nuts for always watching the skies but they all have their noses in their phones it's a wonder people still pay attention to anything. The chemtrials have been particularly heavy in Cali this year btw. "Only one candle left to burn now, before the darkness comes" "Happiness consumes itself like a flame. I thought it was lighter here later than normal, but I wasn't careful writing it down also was 78 degrees HOD, and still 67 at midnight. Temp here has been like a cork...cold front will try and drop it, but after a few days it pops right back into the high sixties and seventies Next summer should be another scorcher like this past one, 4 months over 100 degrees Time to move into the freezer |

It appears to me Sirius and Orion is way to high in the sky for this time of night. anyone? Quoting: Da fuq I watch the stars every single night the sky is clear. Totally clouded out right now (5:30am), but I was outside using a telescope, 8pm until it clouded up, about 9pm. I didn't notice anything 'wrong' I use the 'Kochab-clock' method of fine-tuning the polar-alignment of my telescope's equatorial mount. A method which relies on the position of the star 'Kochab', relative to Polaris, on a circle around the North celestial Pole. My polar-alignment was good (no 'drifting'), and when I slewed to my main target for the session (Jupiter), it was right where it should be. So I can say for sure, that there was nothing wrong with the Earth's rotation at 8pm GMT (20:00 UTC) I will pay particular attention to Sun and Moon tomorrow (weather-permitting) - but I'm not expecting there to be a problem. |

However, the temperature was being reported as 43 degrees and I was in a short sleeve shirt and warm. And NO I wasn't running a fever or having hot flashes. So something was very off today in regards to the temp that was being reported and the way it really felt outside. Once it got dark out it cooled down to 39 and actually felt like it should. |

Texas, same time zone. At about 6 am,maybe a little before the eastern sky looked so normal and odd at the same time. It was golden just above the horizon and the most unusual deep blue torquoise above. Sunrise looked to be about 6:30. I was so surprised that it made me think about it being almost like daylight savings, but not quite. And then I though about it not being solstice yet, but I was sleepy and didn't ponder it further before going to bed. |

I noticed something strange about a week ago. Now this isn't because of the warmer winter. The trees that had just lost their leaves are now thick with new buds, larger than usual. So strange. It has to do with photosynthesis, so I equated it with the amount or type of sunlight. |

Tonight the sky was still very light and barely dusk. I was thinking about this all the way home. Glad to see it mentioned here. Something is def different. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13160006 I looked up the time of sunset and sunrise in my area. The time shows the same for both days, Tues. and Wed. Sunrise: 7:35am Sunset : 5:20pm Today it was still sky light and dusk at 5:30. I'll check it in the morning. I saw this for myself and was thinking about it on the way home and of course checked glp to see if anyone else posted. Thanks OP! Checking in this morning. According to weather dot come sunrise should be 7:34. The sky has been light since 7:00. I can't compare the actual sunrise at my house as it has to come over a mountain in my back yard. But the lightness seems to have been early this morning. Not for sure though. I usually am getting ready for work and do not really notice. |
