Why is that. lol Quoting: Blue Skies I am now wondering if its some sick mind game being played out..... A little knowledge is just enough to hang yourself with. mooning unbelievers User ID: 32463956 United States 01/17/2013 05:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2771636 Think about it - if someone's stood at the north pole they're at 90 degrees to someone stood on the equator. If you look at something like the moon the person at the equator will see the moon more or less on it's side when it's low down, while the person at the north pole will see it stood upright. Same as when you look at your alarm clock when you first wake up on a morning, when you're lying on your side. Lmao the moon is a sphere, you can turn your body in any direction you wish, and its appearance should not change. Your greatly missing the point of this post. The moons shape hasnt changed, it's position in relation to the earth has. No it hasn't. It's been proven by those close circles who study the moon that it has been reducing in size since 2007. This is a fact. It's not well noticeable as we go through quite a few phases of the moon, only those who are frequently looking up are going to notice these changes. Some say our moon will be completely gone by 2018. God in the Holy Bible said he would make signs in the sun and moon earth and stars [link to bible.cc] |

Quoting: DUCM900 - Useless only in your heavily biased opinion. And the answer is yes. Links have been posted for you before of old pics that show it, books that mention it, etc. The fact that you ignore them just shows your ignorance. And by the way it was SINGLE question asking about 4 situations (USA, books, movies, photos). Since naturally I don't watch the skies 24/7 I noticed this for the first time i think in March 2012. I looked it up online and everything seems okay according to plan, even got myself more educated on the moon's phases. But then I got to see it more and more often. I remember when I was in Thailand on vacation, from Sept. 8-14 I recall to see it every night at about 1-4 am. Saw at yesterday too, and the day before at 7-8 pm. Is it random? |

The same photo was published in this book 20 years ago: Quoting: Dr. Astro [link to www.youtube.com] It's up to you to prove that the photo is a fake as well as the other photo I just showed above from another book "Through the Telescope" taken by amateur astronomer Lee Keith. imageshack, book on youtube, amateurs,.... impresive and you're parroting somebody else here has to prove that all this rubbish (ONE picture in fact, more than 40 years old btw.) is fake. OMG I've now given you two pictures that are decades old when the claim was that this is a new phenomenon. It's up to you to prove those photos are fake. I've given you book references as well as photo and video proof that those pictures are real. If you wish to claim that I somehow faked those videos and photos of those pictures, it is up to you to prove your claim by actually getting off your ass, going to a library like I did, and examining those books for yourself. It's called doing actual research. I made it easy for you to see how wrong you are by putting it all online, but if you wish to claim that that evidence is fake, it's up to YOU to prove it. As stated earlier in the thread, I've been an amateur astronomer for 3 decades. I've seen this quite a few times. Some people just aren't worth arguing with. |

Quoting: Waterbug Interesting times in which we live.. When waterbug comes out and verifies that the moon is off, I no longer doubt myself. LMFAO! You disregard photographic evidence, not only from NASA but amateur astronomers as well, and take the word of "waterbug" on GLP with no evidence provided at all. Thank you for illustrating my point so beautifully. Not only are people idiots, they cannot be educated, they automatically believe whatever confirms their beliefs no matter how devoid of evidence, and automatically disregard all evidence to the contrary. |
