I give the benefit of any doubt to the road dog kid. He is not a bum or tramp. The moniker Road Dog is attached to those who wander but are not lost.
Most people live around others something like themselves, work and socialize w/ the same. They are constraind by norms and expectation to a pont it becomes a belief system.
A Road Dog lives and thrives in a 'world' outside of most peoples comfort zone. It is about experiencing / ingesting as many facets of this life as possible. In that split second between being a kid and 'the responsible adult taking their place as a cog in the machine' the Road Dog not only sees oportunity for freedom - he had the guts to take the road less traveled.

Hello 3961, and welcome to GLP. You must be a recent visitor. I say this because if you had been here for any amount of time, you would not be having the reaction which it appears that you are experiencing.

The Professor was just teasing you in an amusing sort of way. He was saying nothing which hasn't already been said ten thousand times (or more) here on GLP, usually in a much rougher and more direct way.

No doubt he was chiding you for not having read the article or watched the video before you commented. Otherwise you'd have known that no one was murdered, and in fact Kai was rather heroic in coming to the rescue of two different people.

As for your starting a petition to get the Professor banned, I'd counsel you to not waste your time or GLP's bandwidth.

However, you go ahead and do whatever makes you happy! That's the beauty of GLP - if your feelings are getting hurt you can always go to another thread!
