Bratton: Bin Laden May Attempt October Surprise

Chief's Op-Ed Piece Says Osama Bin Laden Might Attack To Try To Influence The U.S. Election.

LOS ANGELES Americans should be on high alert for acts of terror because Osama bin Laden may try to influence the presidential election, according to Los Angeles police Chief William Bratton.

Bin Laden has tried to influence elections in the past and it would be reasonable to expect a similar effort this year, according to the piece co-written with R.P. Eddy, senior fellow for counterterrorism at the Manhattan Institute. The article was published Wednesday in the New York Daily News.

"Al Qaida has a history of trying to influence elections, most notably with the 2004 train attacks in Madrid," the article notes. "Just three days before Spain's prime ministerial elections, 10 bombs left 191 dead, and al-
Qaida affiliates swung the election away from the incumbent, who supported the coalition wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and toward the challenger, a vociferous critic of U.S. foreign policy."

Days before the election between President Bush and Sen. John Kerry, bin Laden released a videotape that seemed to support Kerry, pushing some voters toward Bush, Bratton and Eddy wrote.

"This is a critical election for al-Qaida," they wrote. "The U.S.-led invasions of two Muslim countries during the Bush years and scandals such as Abu Ghraib have been a boon for bin Laden's demagoguery. He and other Islamists continually and dishonestly cite these wars as evidence of a U.S. war on Islam. That has helped create a steady stream of suicide bombers eager to destroy U.S. targets on their way to paradise."

The op-ed piece notes that bin Laden would likely look to push voters toward Republican Sen. John McCain -- mainly because of the international popularity of Democratic Sen. Barack Obama.

"Put simply: bin Laden probably realizes it could become markedly more difficult to paint the United States as the 'Great Satan' with a new president who is admired internationally," they wrote. "The remaining 14 days before the elections should be seen as a time of high threat, and state and local police should be on high alert. With so much at stake in these elections, bin Laden will probably attempt to make his opinion count."

Good find!

Riverside police officials decided Sunday, Feb. 10, to release the name of the officer shot to death on Thursday, who they believe was a victim of ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner. Police had previously decided not to release Officer Michael Crain’s name to protect his family. The community reacted quickly, expressing condolences and support for Crain’s family and colleagues.

Here's what I don't get. "who they believe was a victim of Dorner" - yet we've already established proof there were (3) traffic cameras on the intersection where this took place!!!

How convenient. The guns to tie him to the alleged murders are found in the truck.
Well what if that was a set up, just not by the suspect?

Maybe that's laying down a legend for public consumption?
What if they were thrown down weapons?

I didn't see what the deal was with a truck being towed vs. on sealed up with plastic and duct tape on the back of a flatbed?

See how familiar it is to have more than one version and then twist it some more by having the truck show up intact in another location?

Confusion by design.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838

Yeh, could have been planted as a way to send him a message.

I didn't really get the rest of your post, lol. Can you explain it again? Sealed with duct tape, the truck is in two places?
 Quoting: Little Willow

If cops were framing him then they would put the throw down weapons in the truck.
What truck? A burned out hulk that I defy anybody to positively ID.
It was shown in a video being pulled out in plain sight behind a wrecker. I have also seen video of the truck being hauled under plastic wrap and duct tape (allegedly), on a flatbed wrecker. While yet another version of the alleged truck is found intact in a town outside San Diego.

How could his truck have tracks leading away to nowhere or so soon after the truck is found on fire like a big ole signal light? And yet no suspect. This is possible if the whole story is an invention by the cops setting up a guy in abstentia. Dead men tell no tales.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838

Here's info on that San Diego truck:

[link to losangeles.cbslocal.com]

[link to poway.patch.com]

Remember the VIN number of the burned out vehicle could not be determined - wondering if they were able to determine it yet - haven't seen anything on that yet.

Musical trucks.......
 Quoting: BunnyGirl

You telling me that cops cant find the vin number on the burned truck, Thats as insane as this story. Something that new should easily have 20 -35 vins in select locations such as frame in 3 spots every door and fender the engine itself and many more. I dont buy that shit.

Thanks. I looked him up.
Here's all you need to know about Michael Crain or why
he might have been targeted along with Droner.

Officer Michael Crain was born in Anaheim, California to Stephen and Cindy Crain on April 9, 1978. He was the oldest of three children and had a brother, Jason, and sister, Leslie. He was raised in the Riverside area and graduated from Redlands High School in 1996.

After high school, Mike attended Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa for a year prior to enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. He served two deployment tours in Kuwait as a rifleman in the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, 3rd Battalion 1st Marines. He was a squad leader, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was then stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA, where he taught Military Operations in Urban Terrain. During his military service, Mike was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 1 star, a Certificate of Commendation, and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge.

After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Mike joined the Riverside Police Department. He graduated from the Riverside Sheriff's Academy, class #152, and was sworn in as a Riverside Police Officer on August 24, 2001.

Following his graduation from the Field Training Program, he was assigned to Field Operations as a patrol officer. During his 11 year tenure with the Riverside Police Department, Mike served as a patrol officer, and was assigned to the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team. He had also served as a Helicopter Observer, a Field Training Officer, a Firearms Instructor, and had been assigned to the University Neighborhood Enhancement Team (UNET).

Dorner Media Event, Protocols Funds, & The D.C. CONS
Date: Sunday, 10-Feb-2013

Dorner Media Event, Protocols Funds, & The D.C. CONS
I wouldn't put it past the D.C. CONS to have an interest in the creation of all the false flag events, shootings, massacres, epidemics they can possibly arrange now that the very existence of their lavish, extravagant lifestyles is on the table.
Lately some persons in California were killed, a so-called 'manifesto' was issued and blamed on Mr. Dorner. The cops over there are so desperate to kill Mr. Dorner (shut him up permanently and prevent his further testimony) they have opened fire on and shot two innocent newspaper delivery women, one shot in the back.
Doesn't it really appear that someone has issued a 'do not take alive' order for Mr. Dorner? If so, why would they do that unless he had such incriminating evidence against officials it threatens some careers, etc.? Or, maybe Mr. Dorner has even bigger information to release.
Especially at this time period when the Reagan-Mitterrand Protocols are to be implemented it may be convenient for government criminals to point away from this and say, "look over there at that horrible murder", etc..It has been established that there are military psyops personnel operating within media outlets like local television stations and cable news stations. Why aren't they covering the implementation event of the protocols funds instead of following the trigger-happy cops around so much?
Heneghan, International Intelligence Expert writes:
"P.P.S. U.S. Treasury Secretary-designated Jack Lew phoned IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde today and told her that upon his confirmation the Wanta-Reagan-Mitterrand Protocols will be implemented immediately that will complete the bi-lateral tax agreement ordered by the U.S. Supreme Court between the U.S. Treasury, the IMF and the Central Bank of Austria.
Reference: Former First Lady Nancy Reagan was in Washington D.C. and made it clear to President Obama that the Protocols must be implemented now."
So there is apparently a lot going on that is the most important event in recent history and getting little-to-no media coverage.
The D.C. CONS are in a corner, but true to form, they may show their ugliest sides yet.
The implementation of the protocols funds may remove most or all of the power to create money at the stroke of a pen and may encourage a balanced budget measure to be adopted.
Without the power to create money fraudulently The D.C. CONS will lose most of their criminal empire and be unable to conduct so much electronic harassment of citizens, agencies, etc., also. Where will they then get the money to pay their hireling perps?

The new proposal does not change the 15 types of data black boxes should record when it senses a crash.

Let's not forget the black boxes in cars

"Ex-LAPD cop thought to stalk victims, sources say".

[link to latimesblogs.latimes.com]

Authorities won't release the details. Are they talking about the DVD that a poster here said he dropped off to a SGT??? And that SGT. he liked?

That visit didn't sound like stalking but maybe they have evidence of him stalking others?

And how would releasing the details put anyone at risk if no names are mentioned?

They really need to start releasing more of these types of things along with surveillance camera footage. It would help quell the sympathy for Dorner that is growing.

I really don't want to sympathize with the murder of that innocent young couple who had nothing to do with his firing. But they need to give a little more to indicate that Dorner did it and not just statements like they believe he "stalked his victims"
