Covid19sars2.0 User ID: 69821829 10/14/2020 02:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | UPDATES FROM ITALY Quoting: Leonero + 7332 new positive cases + 43 dead patients + 394 hospitalized patients [now 5470 patients currently hospitalized] + 25 patients in ICU [now 539 patients currently in ICU] 152.196 swab tests. (take note that in the total number of swab tests are also counted the "control tests" for people in quarantine at home who, if tested negative, are added to the total of recovered people) + 2037 recovered (negative to the control swab test) ITALY was slow out of the blocks. But catching. Think the average amount of tests per day is only around the 100k.. I apologise for my spelling and grammar, Dyslexia is a biatch. But add on MS and its a whole new world of magic spelling and rambling. We all love green, thanks in advance :) So thats how it is, deal with it or keep walking. We all love green. Thanks in advance :) |

Quoting: deplorable recollector I like to wait (you know I am a patient person) and post it when I said I will post it. Thought you were giving up on future updates ?? The update for October 15th. was already announced, and the general lines were ready 2 months ago. I have said, several times, that I don't know what will be the path for the second wave : full lock-downs, whack-a-mole half assed-measures or let the virus ran amok. The 15th October update was prepared for all of the above scenarios, in general lines, with changes according to events that will take place from August until October 15th. Slowly, but surely, my personal theory that "they" will let the virus ran amok, betting on herd immunity, and faking measures that will have no impact, is now reality. When I chose October 15th., as the due date for make or break time, I knew that by this date, there will be enough events that will confirm my theory. As such, the tomorrow's update is not only a planned one, but is the most telling one, because it will show, what is coming, with almost 100% accuracy. My update on 11th, called by myself, THE UPDATE, presented an image of what will happen in the next 6 months, IF full lock-downs are in place by the end of this month. I hoped that this will be the case. It is not. Macron and others confirmed that we won't have full lock-downs this month. This not only changes everything, but the planned update for tomorrow is more extensive, it covers the next 12 months, and the numbers are far more bigger. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79490080 United States 10/14/2020 03:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Since covid is claimed to be airborne, and rides on larger particles in the air, any 'swab test' that is NOT DONE IN A PERFECTLY STERILE ENVIRONMENT is likely a contaminated sample. Quoting: Tree of Life Hence the many erroneous test results. They got your DNA, though, which was the point of TPTB after all. With all the evidence of a covid shamdemic, how is this thread not dead... it was crap from the get go, and the original premise failed almost immediately! The modelling stinks to high heaven! However, a great example of how science bends the truth or throws it out the window if it suits the 'outcome'. Total joke!! Peddle your tinfoil hat paranoia elsewhere. now here is listening to what you have to say. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79010931 United States 10/14/2020 05:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So the WHO is now reversing course saying lockdowns should be avoided. Their reasoning is faulty or they think the virus isn't serious or maybe they just aren't all that bright. I don't know, but this could be game-changer if countries across the world take this advice. If nothing else, anti-maskers will use it as fuel for their argument further creating a divide. Quoting: BeelzeBob I don't know if you can really even factor it into your model. The French don't even go out to eat until 9pm. And most people can't stay out partying all night like that for too long if they work or have other responsibilities. |

darth User ID: 28178764 United States 10/14/2020 07:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is why schools will help to create the next wave. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79485089 Results: Survival rates of SARS-CoV-2 were determined at different temperatures and D-values, Z-values and half-life were calculated. We obtained half lives of between 1.7 and 2.7 days at 20 °C, reducing to a few hours when temperature was elevated to 40 °C. With initial viral loads broadly equivalent to the highest titres excreted by infectious patients, viable virus was isolated for up to 28 days at 20 °C from common surfaces such as glass, stainless steel and both paper and polymer banknotes. Conversely, infectious virus survived less than 24 h at 40 °C on some surfaces. Conclusion: These findings demonstrate SARS-CoV-2 can remain infectious for significantly longer time periods than generally considered possible. These results could be used to inform improved risk mitigation procedures to prevent the fomite spread of COVID-19."
