Re: Are women allowed to preach and teach in the church? Or are we to be silent?
No, they are not to preach. You can't find a woman preacher or priest anywhere in the bible. Show me a bible verse of one and I'll agree with you.

Woman can do a lot like prophesy, gifts of the Holy Spirit, be called disciples, be helpers of the church, but nowhere is there ever one preacher in the New Testament to the church, SORRY!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20586262

There is not one Scripture in the Bible that forbids women from preaching, but on the contrary, there are many verses that encourage both men and women to preach the Gospel.
 Quoting: Salt

Give me just one bible verse that mentions a name of a woman apostle, bishop, or deacon to the church. That's all I ask for! You can't because there isn't one. Were there any priests that were women? NO. Jesus carried this into the New Testament and it was understood by all in the first church so there was no need to put a verse forbidding it. All apostles Jesus chose were men, Jesus didn't even pick His own mother who bore Him. That should tell you something right there! It does forbid a woman to teach a man. So how can a woman preach, that would be teaching men!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20586262

Give me one verse in the Bible that mentions the use of computers in churches? That should tell you something right there. Since there is no mention of computers, we must understand this to mean that they are forbidden.

See how this line of spurious reasoning works?

You claim to know God and like to tell others that we do not know him but the word of God rebuke you!!!! Again, you go contrary to Yeshua and all the Prophets before him teaching the usual anti-Christ Pauline lawless apostasy with all the rubbish you spoke in this post.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25184767

So if you throw out all of Paul's writings (erroneously in my opinion), what else of the New Testament do you also throw out?

Anything connected to him, all his writings and the book of Hebrews that many suspect that he wrote! Typical Pauline lies!!!

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Hebrews 7:12

He had zero Authority to make any changes to the Law or Priesthood since he was not one of the 12 Apostles.

There's also not one mention of anyone, male or female, called a "pastor".

But there is in fact a woman called a deacon: Phoebe, and the Greek word in that verse is EXACTLY the form used also for men. The only reason translators (all men, BTW) have rendered it "servant" is because they presume, wrongly, that no woman could be a deacon--- the fallacy of circular reasoning.

Likewise, Junia was call an apostle, even an outstanding one. And I've been all over the ridiculous attempts to make her not an apostle, not an authoritative one, or-- get this-- a man! All have been thoroughly debunked. The United Bible Societies even altered the Greek text to make Junia a man, breaking their own rules for demanding manuscript support, then quietly changing it back 50 years later.

Anyway, Hebrews was not written by Paul. Paul always signed his letters.

Go through all of my posts and prove it. That is what one who loves the Lord Almighty would do.
 Quoting: Spitting Into The Wind

Example number 1.

"He was talking about women in the Corinth assembly being disruptive within the directions of how THEIR GATHERING should be run. We are not under the Law, but the Will Of God written in our hearts. Read the whole thing and quit taking it out of context!"

That is just your false interpretation. You saying he was only speaking to the Women of Corinth is a lie because he says similar things in his other books regarding women ministering. Secondly, "We are not under the Law."

Another wretched lie and anyone who says otherwise is an anti-Christ!

Matthew 5:17-19

King James Version (KJV)

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25184767

Fulfillment of the Law means the Law (which is God's will) is written in our hearts at our spiritual transformation (born of spirit as stated in John 3). The Law of Moses was a PHYSICAL thing; the will of God directing our every move is a SPIRITUAL one. The Lord Creator has complete control over those who sacrifice self daily. I am sorry you do not understand this, but you need to seek Him on this.

I never said women could be over congregations, so what is your point?
 Quoting: Spitting Into The Wind

No, you are wrong again. Yeshua fulfilled the Law by annulling the Judgements(Stonings etc) and tweaking some of the Commandments and adding some more. You are ignorant to what that phrase means. There is only one Law and that is the Law of Moses and that is the Law that God was referring to that he would write in our hearts. And you may not have said women could be over congregations but you have been abdicating that the priesthood of the OT is over and we are all priests now which is an outright lie.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25184767

Yeshua did not add to the Commandments but defined them in spiritual terms; kept the definition of what sin was and gave spiritual representation of it; and did away with the rest. I see what the problem is: you have not been taught to see the physical foreshadowing in the OT is transferred to the spiritual realization in the New Covenant. Ask the Lord for yourself and see what He says. Can you do that?

What do you think of Adam? Was he stupid or smart?

Do you think God was telling Adam about tricks of gardening and cultivation or characteristic of goats.....or was it something more important?

Was Adam a perfect creation /intelectualy/physicaly....before sin?

Could Adam have this question : God why IM here?

Why satan came to Eve ?

Do you think Adam did not know that God can make new Eve for him because 1st eve ate stupid fruit and going to die?

Do you realize that Adam loved his Eve so much.....that he chose death...

The NT was written in Greek and Aramaic; only the Book of Matthew was found in Hebrew. So, you choose to be ignorant and believe God only works as you think He does instead of asking Hm directly yourself. Sad,indeed.

And yet, you intentionally skipped over the verses concerning we all becoming priests unto the Lord. Also, ministry of believers is used the NT. How am I to take you seriously?

I see you also skipped over my statement about the bloodline of the Levitical priesthood. Please, address these two points. Here, let me help you out:

Romans 2:29 No, a person is a Jew inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, brought about by the Spirit, not by a written law. That person's praise will come from God, not from people.

You are playing the hypocrite, criticizing those who make the transition between the Old (physical) and New (spiritual) Testament because you refuse to see past your brainwashing to understand truth. We are ALL priests (servants to the Lord for and in His Temple made without human hands, the Body of Yeshua in spirit. The old physical priesthood was done away with."

Total rubbish! The priesthood was given to the Sons of Aaron alone for a perpetual covenant!!!

And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons. Exodus 29:9

Only those from the tribe of Levi can be priests and have to be male. No Women are to be ministers of the Lord!!! It is a PERPETUAL COVENANT!!!

For starters, ministry = service. Study your Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew; quit going by modern definitions. We are all called to be in service to the Lord, are we not?

Second, perpetual does not mean forever unless everyone YHWH calls to become serving leaders has Levitical blood in them by your logic. Also, you are ignoring Scripture concerning all believers called to be kings and priests in the Kingdom of God. You are the one baring false witness, not I.
 Quoting: Spitting Into The Wind

Ministry refers to the ministering of the Priests of God.

And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried. Deuteronomy 21:5

I don't need to study any Greek or Aramaic because it is the Hebrew that matters. And yes, the word perpetual does mean forever. And what scripture are you talking about?

per·pet·u·al/pərˈpeCHo͞oəl/

 Quoting: Spitting Into The Wind

Yes obviously I am aware of that. I meant in the context of ministry and it's relation to the Priesthood and Sons of Aaron. Again, I ask you what scripture are you talking about regarding we all become priests and kings, chapter and verse please. There is a huge difference between the witnessing of the disciples and the holy priesthood of God so you obviously do not know what I am talking about. Yes, I am aware that we do not know at this moment in time who the Son's of Levi are but I do know that they are dispersed between all the tribes of Israel and I am sure that God had his will performed in who would minister for him and I truly believe that many of the Son's of Levi are in fact priests and minsters today. But what I am totally sure of is that Women can not be from that holy priesthood. That I am 100% sure of. And I do not accept that false Prophets writing's since he was an anti-Christ anti-Law wolf so please do not post that to me again.

Example number 2.

Priesthood? You are playing the hypocrite, criticizing those who make the transition between the Old (physical) and New (spiritual) Testament because you refuse to see past your brainwashing to understand truth. We are ALL priests (servants to the Lord for and in His Temple made without human hands, the Body of Yeshua in spirit. The old physical priesthood was done away with.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race who serve as Priests for The Kingdom, a holy people, a redeemed assembly; you should proclaim the praises of him who called you from darkness into his excellent light.

Revelation 1:6 And he has made us The Priestly Kingdom to God and his Father; to him be glory and Empire to the eternity of eternities. Amen.

 Quoting: Spitting Into The Wind

Oh really?

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

And let me ask you a question, what exactly is sin?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25184767

John 13:34 is not new; everything Yeshua taught is in the OT. He called it new because it would be applied to Gentiles as well, as He demonstrated by His actions towards the Gentiles. Also, I doubt the religious leaders of the day taught or practiced that very thing:

Deuteronomy 6:5 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

Leviticus 19:18 You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Luke 10:25 And behold, a scribe arose to test him, and he said, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 26But Yeshua said to him, "How is it written in the law? How do you read it?" 27He answered and he said to him, "You shall love YHWH your God from all your heart and from all your soul and from all your strength and from all your mind and your neighbor as yourself." 28Yeshua said to him, "You have said correctly; do this and you shall live."

What is sin? The transgression of the Law in the physical and the transgression of the will of God through the direction of the Holy Spirit in the spirit. The Law is for those who believe the works of the flesh can save them (baby or immature believers who have trouble shaking the influence of the physical); the will of God written in the heart is the reason each person was created and the fulfillment of such, only by submission and desiring what He, the Living God of all wants.

the command to not eat the fruit went directly to Adam from God. Before the woman was even created.

it was Adam's responsibility. he failed.

Genesis 2:4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed a man[c] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
