^^^THIS^^^ OP, they don't understand. We don't think sex is disgusting or anything and we do have sex every once in a while but it's really not important to us. We connect on so many levels that we know what the other is thinking and need and it's hardly ever sex. A touch, a hug, an high five, a kiss, reassurance, compliments, positive thoughts to one another... That's part of being soul mates. Again, most will not get this.

I should have said that most will not understand this. It's different to be in love with someone than to be in love with a soul mate. I have been in love with someone and that person was in love with me but we just didn't connect and often conflicted. Love between soul mates is rare and I'm so fortunate to have experience this. The way that I look at it is that I must have done something right or someone/something is looking over me because I can't think of any other answer.

Sex should not be the primary glue holding a marriage together, but the type of connection you get from having sex with your partner is amazing!

If you truly find having sex with your husband disgusting, and truly find sex disgusting, then there is something else going on. You might be gay and just denying the natural urge, finding the feelings gross or immoral.

Truly, rampant, emotionless sex is not healthy and I do find it a perversion of the gift of sex. I was kind of a ho back in the day until I met my husband. I realize how much of a travesty it was to abuse my body like that. I was not happy and had a lot of issues.

Loving, consensual, meaningful sex is beautiful. I'm so sorry that you will not be able to have that intimate connection with your husband. I wish nothing but the best for you, though.
