Thanks Gabe, I sure will.

My flowers have been odd for a while now. I have had a feeling that we can't count on the seasons anymore, and that fall may be really early this year. I realize most people are counting on a long hot summer, and I have no proof for my opinion other than a gut feeling. I am probably wrong, just thought I would throw it out there. Is it possible that the change in the Chandler Wobble could affect the seasons, or just the solar/fluff issues we are facing?

Dragon Splashes Down

SpaceX's Dragon capsule sits on a barge after being retrieved from the Pacific Ocean after splashdown. Dragon splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at 11:42 a.m. EDT a few hundred miles west of Baja California, Mexico, marking a successful end to the first mission by a commercial company to resupply the International Space Station.

hmmm, when did that huge storm develop from that area, the one that raged northeastward through the US? Don't suppose there could be any connection? Might be a good idea to watch the re-entry of flights and note any weather anomalies.

no, no bad weather that i have heard about

have a look at it now

the black vertical lines have disappeared, but now the horizontal lines have a weird heavy lumpy look

does anyone know what this means with the horizontal lines?

because it changed to how it is now, i am less inclined to think it was a glitch, is it perhaps very volcanic looking?

Re: F.O.G.
Unusual, strong and shallow M5.6 earthquake hit Antarctic region – strong earthquakes continue globally

It was followed by strong earthquakes worldwide – 4.9 at Molucca Sea, 5.7 near the north coast of Papua, Indonesia, 5.2 near the south coast of Honshu, Japan, 4.8 off the coast of Pakistan. 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit Southern Xinjiang, China with depth of 10km. 482 km deep magnitude 5.2 earthquake was recorded in Fiji region… the list goes on and it doesn’t seem it will stop any time soon.

Antarctic seismicity and neotectonics

Antarctica occupies a unique tectonic setting for a major plate is almost completely surrounded by divergent or conservative margins (Hayes 1991). Active intraplate deformatiun and volcanism both occur in West Antarctica and may be present in the subglacial mountains and basins of East Antarctic a. In addition to tectonic sonrces of stress indicated above, the plate is subject to stress induced by glacial loading and unloading (James & Ivins 1998). The World Stress Project (Zoback 1992), which aimed to summarise lithospheric stress worldwide, could not inc lude any constraints on Antarctic neotectonics because insufhcient data were available at the time. Earthquakes are caused by the inelastic response of rock to strain, so the proportion of seismic and aseismic deformation indicates lithospheric dynamics. Following improvements to the Globa l Seismic (GSN) in 1995, a low, but increased, level ofintraplate earthquakes has been recorded.

The pattern of seismicity across the continent is now emerging and beginning to provide information on the neotectonics of Antarctica (read more here).

MOG Hopeful of Progress on Italian Offshore Drilling Ban

Italy-focused Mediterranean Oil and Gas is continuing to work with the Italian government to achieve a resolution of the status of its Ombrina Mare project. Speaking to Rigzone on Friday, MOG Chief Executive Bill Higgs said that there had been a number of positive developments to suggest that adjustments will be made to the offshore drilling ban that came with Italy's Legislative Decree No. 128 in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon incident.

Hiya Tex

Sorry for my late reply. Glad you enjoyed your visit to Ohio, bet it feels good to be home.

It might also be an intro:

U.S. states that have enacted fracking disclosure legislation or rules include Arkansas, Colorado, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wyoming. Ohio’s legislature approved disclosure rules last week that the governor is expected to sign into law. California is considering disclosure legislation, and the U.S. Interior Department, a repository of public lands, has also proposed disclosure rules .

In a report published this week, the International Energy Agency urged policy makers to adopt “full, mandatory disclosure of fracturing fluid additives and volumes,” to avoid sowing mistrust about fracking activities.

hiya nerd

thanks for your input

did you see the it when it was almost blacked out with vertical lines directly before it became like this?
I have seen this on other graphs before, and i am real intested to know what it is

what does that usually mean? I thought glitch at the time, until it changed to this

i don't think its weather making our graph look the way it does at the moment, because it has never looked like this in
the year i have been watching it daily. And we have had some whopper storms and bad weather in that time.

something seems to be happening with our volcanoes right now, most of them have acquired red parts on their graphs lately. And there seems to be sporadic burbling going on at Ngauruhoe volcano lately (It is a very active volcano)
[link to zl2tod.net]

looking here at the other LISS graphs, the Hawaii graphs, and also the Raratonga one have similar patterns on them to NZ
[link to earthquake.usgs.gov]

the pattern on the Funafuti, Tuvalu graph has become more intense since the NZ one changed, whereas it had stayed the same for ages until now

thanks heaps

Significant earthquake precursor signal detected on 06/03/12 at 1730utc/1330est. Possible 6+.

Radio Direction Finder has signal coming in East of France from somewhere out in the Northern, Mid to Southern portions of the Pacific plate to Alaska, Canada and Chile.

All who live anywhere in the vicinity of this line trajectory should be wary next 5 hours. Have escape plan ready and seek open terrain in the event of felt tremor. Secure most of your heavy objects and belongings around your home.

Namaste,

Hopefully I am wrong. Or it hits an unpopulated area.
Japan is also a likely target. Be wary.
