I'd been wondering where old Rastus had gone, hadn't seen him in a few days...coupla weeks, I guess...I sorta knew something wasn't right....my "barometer" weed had just died...the thing was 4ft tall and growing like a bean stalk...but then one morning...dead...so..yeah...there was a lot of angry energy around...the plant made a recovery of sorts...but no cat...found hum today...dead as a cracker...broke my heart...he was just a feral, never came inside...but he trusted me, and I trusted him, and I let him down, coz he is dead...so...whatever charms or devices some hateful bastard threw at my door...it sad...yanno...to see such a magnificent creature...taken down...in such a way...biggest healthiest cat I had ever seen...so, he is gone...cya mate, it was always nice to know that you were outside, always nice to know you had a full belly, and thanks mate, for the trust, sorry I let you down.
So, life goes on, Rastus is now in the Heavenly Guard of Cats, I presume...nothing is so much fun anymore...
