There are two ways to make one.

You can use holograms to make a forcefield.

You make layers of vibrating matrixes that vibrate at anti-gravity frequencies, but are directed in toward each other.

This causes things to be repelled in both directions, but also holds in the effects of the gravity as it pushes against itself. Or, create four layers, the two in the middle both pointing outward from each other, and then a layer of waves that cancel the effect a few centimeters or millimeters from the gravity field. This would cause the two inner fields to push into each other's backs, possibly strengthening the field.

The other way to create a forcefield is to simply use electromagnetic antigravity fields directed toward the object, at high frequency. Another balancing field must be placed behind the object or it will push away from the items being contained.

The very reason these car motors are called engines is because they produced their own power to run on. However, battery makers decided they wanted more money, and alternators have their advantages. So they took out the generators and put in alternators.

Other than changing the heads, taking out the carborator, and adding a thinner oil, and working out vaccuum kinks, it will work.
