Does this look like what everyone is seeing? Quoting: BoxerLvr [link to i.imgur.com] [link to i.imgur.com] I didn't want to believe it, but seeing is believing. Can anyone else confirm the object looks the same as the one their seeing? This is mine, from 2 nights ago. :) [link to s439.photobucket.com] . Thanks for posting pics! I must have missed yours the other day Esmee. |

I was on FB reading various posts over the last couple of days and many people are randomly asking if anyone else has seen the object in the sky low on the horizon at sunset. They mention it is by the sun real low and does not stay long. They have no clue what it is, but are mentioning it because it apparently must of made an impact on them in some way. These are not GLP people I don't believe, and are on various posts that are not discussing space/sky issues. It kind of shocked me when I came across them. Anyway, just thought I would mention that others are questioning it also. Perfer et Obdura;Dolor hic tibi proderit olim.Fortes Fortuna Iuvat! It does seem like some object was being seen in the Southern Hemisphere for at least a year and now an object is being seen in the Northern Hemisphere. One wonders if a comparison and trajectory might be made if we can find those videos from Down Under.... I have been thinking along those same lines, we need a map and everyone who has seen it - add their line of site - I don't think anyone would have a problem with a topographical map it doesn't have to start at you home, or anywhere near it - all we need is the angle - your line of sight |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 38664355 United States 10/09/2013 10:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is what I saw in the W/SW sky a few months ago here in Michigan. Not the contrails from the planes but the other winged or v shaped thing that everyone in this thread is talking about. Sometimes its S or snake shaped as well. I went out this evening about 6:50pm and started to head out to look for this object again because of this thread. I headed West, the sun had just gone beneath the horizon. As I looked SW I saw 7 planes with contrails heading in all different directions. 3 were heading South, 2 were heading East, 2 North. I was surprised at how many planes where in the sky and they look very similar to the object in question. Finally, I saw what I had seen a few months back, low on the horizon more west than SW very low. IMHO the planes were flying as a distraction. They came out at the same time the object was visible. Which wasn't for very long, less than 10 minutes. The planes obviously could only stay in that part of the SW/W sky for long as they were moving. The object in question however was stationary, setting like the sun would. To the untrained person who just happened to look tonight would see nothing but planes with contrails. Just wanted to share my experience with you all, btw to all the shills, you know who you are, people have done a great job of pointing your pathetic asses out. Unfortunately, this object is real, whatever it is. I have read this whole thread from page 1 and its not Venus, a plane contrail, Mercury/Saturn, falling satellite, space debris, or some other star. Lastly, Astromut once people disagree with your pathetic excuse for an explanation you result to insults. Shows everyone reading this thread exactly what you are. Shame on you, sir, shame on you. What goes around, comes around. Remember that. |
