I tend to agree to a large extent. I think there was a total misdirect . Op may have been communicating with someone but there was a deliberate misdirect perpetrated here by key participants.

imo, "misbehaving" is reasonable as long as you have not accepted an invitation to a private party where you are expected to conform.

I strongly object to conformity in the public sector. A bus may have an "enter" and an "exit" door, but don't arrest a guy for leaving through the "enter." (Exception taken to those acts which are abusive and safety risks.) Not one of us was required to read or respond to any particular poster. Our choice.

If an d when you have been banned, then the mods will have thought it was justified. It is not up to one of us to ban a person. More people must have been making reports. POINT.

I would say the fact that your unbanned means it was "nothing personal". More that the mods felt a need to have a time out for being "disruptive". I dont know...maybe I'm wrong.

For example, if I like a particular sports team, say..sports team B. And I go to a neutral forum, where a thread was started on a belief that team A is going to win the championship. I go on there and say, "Hey your full of crap, team A sucks" No one will ban me for that. However If I keep coming back and stating...."No you must have not heard me...team A sucks...and does it well" most likely I will grab the attention of the Mods and be put in time out....not for my opinions...but for being disruptive. So I wouldn't pin anything on the Mods for doing there job. Why can't we all play nice in the sandbox?

I'm still mystified that if one doesn't believe in what is being said....Why dont they just move along.
