Those are German Queen Tomatoes and Cherries Ugh. I just waged hell on a huge thick mess of Carolina Jessamine. It was crushing the trellises it grew on so I went and bought the makings of a split rail fence and have been busy trying to dig holes for the posts at least 3 feet deep. Carolina clay is pretty tough when it's dry. The fence will be a decent trellis for this mess. I love Carolina Jessamine. One of my favorite yellow flowers. It's also an awesome ground cover. You need something hella sturdy lol I had to improvise something quick for my tomatoes and this was what I came up with lol Come to find out the plant is crazy toxic and is used in Asia for suicide purposes...  Yep. Gotta keep it away from pets because it will kill them. I've known people who got extremely sick from handing them just with bare hands  “Secure the shadow, ere the substance fades.” |
