Living under strange circumstances ATM, but it's what's best for my girlies so no complaints, really :)

Eager to get more bulbs in the ground. I'm slowly realizing how much as the years pass I will come to not love winter like I used to. So much less a indoor homebody and so much more a flowertard than when this first came around...

Ugh, how rude...
But you ought know it's true
That I care to know, too,
That your days be less blue
And rather brighter for you, too :)

Thank you, both hf

Who knows, I might re-visit the ol' account thing when everything's near in bloom to share flower pics and new poems.

Maybe if I keep it at that, eh, who knows... ;)

Re: GLP-Jukebox
That last song I posted, Brave...my 11 year old daughter had me listen to that song and watch that video for my first time. As an 11 year old little girl she kind of laughed at some of the people dancing in the video. But as I watched it I felt like the Grinch when his heart starts growing and growing (lmao, I know, what a f*cking dork)! But I thought it was such a beautiful video and I'm a lucky mama because my daughter is 100% teachable. And she may laugh at first, but a 3 minute conversation with her opens her little eyes to what really matters in this world.

I have me a great kiddo!!

Anyone who has read GLP for any period of time has acquired good knowledge mixed in with the 99% noise.
The trick is learning to filter out the noise.

My older daughter (11 also) is the foremost introductory influence of new music for me.

Funny time, we were listening to an album and her little sister asked, "OMG! Why do we listen to this album so much in the car?"

Older sister looks back at her like, o.0, and says, "Because it's freakin' awesome, duh!"

The two of them can make me laugh better than anyone and that's the best medicine there is - the foremost lesson their grandmother ever taught me :)

One of those freakin' awesome tracks...
