What IS the FEAR that God will abandon you if you 'screw up'? The first time I read this...it struck that chord. Alch. Wed. Con't... Quoting: Brian8888 -------------------------Day 2 Desert.........con't. In the morning...... He awoke Bleary eyed and covered in sand It was still barely light, grey clouds could be seen faintly in the distance... A stinging sensation stabbed at his left foot , and he instinctively grabbed his foot in pain.. A scorpion had stung him ! Scorpio ! He crawled out of his night time nook, as beads of sweat formed on his neck and brow. His arms grew shaky as his sight began to dim... Blackness overtook him as he looked on from above... From above ? He felt himself sinking down into the darkness of earth, sweet earth , sweet darkness ! and did he dream ! ....The " bridge of Sirah". A bridge in the heavens which has a star at on corner of the " great square". This star is called "Sirrah", it is the head of the bound woman Andromeda. This being one corner of the great square, the other three corners of the great square are the wings of Pegasus. The star has a more common name... "Alpheratz". In celestial myths the " Great Square" represents that place which must be crossed in order to achieve eternal life. The asterism sits squarely above the location on the ecliptic where the path is the furthest away from the galactic plane. In practically all cultures this is known as the place of death and resurrection. On the Santiago staff which is inscribed with the Rongo-Rongo script of Easter island, there is a story about a king who had fallen between two posts, and gone to the place where the " birds copulate" with the fishes. This is also a part of the " language of birds". Down below the great square and under the " bridge of Sirrah", a man lays on his back with a Phoenix behind him. Above the man's head is another man pouring water towards the man on his back . This man with the pitcher is Aquarius, the man on his back is the sacred Moai waiting to come back to life. But first he must " cross" the " bridge of Sirrah", above the bridge sits a king called Cepheus. It is the goal of Aquarius to help the man by the side of the road get back to his kingdom as Cepheus, whence he came. .......blackness engulfs him one last time..... He awakens as the sun is setting again, marring his useless vision with rosy tints.... He grasps his water skin and finishes off what remained....his breath ratchets in the wind.... So vulnerable, fragile, helpless..... Tears stream down his dusted cheeks... A movement to the left draws his attention..... A serpent stands poised, a black question mark illuminated in the fading sunset.... " SAD"? the serpent says... " did god abandon you"?........ " yes I think he must have"....... The serpent hisses... " no" I whisper, choking on every letter..... Blackness engulfs me , I surrender........ Screaming all the way down.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31036731 There should be no remainder. You speak of perfect action? No remainder means, that it is perfectly divisible. 21/7=3 Is that right? Your top sentence reminds of what is oft said of revenge. Not something I am one to seek. Then your'e missing the point; As effectively there is no gain Okay. Are you saying then that 'effective action' is that which is patiently pondered/waited on and then executed at the 'proper time', of which due to the nature of the action that it has 'no remainder' due to being perfect in form...? We can try, but every action can only eventually cause balance. With that in mind we know aggression seeds our own undoing. As we can not act with spite and rancor without baiting it's equivalent. Now I have to watch the Shootist. |

Looking inside you wondered how it would feel to confine yourself, to define yourself. Upon entering you noticed the door and pulled it on hinge towards yourself. Seeing the flip lock inside, you flipped it shut. Comfortable in the knowledge you could release yourself from it's cramped feeling of permanence. You radiated in its dense darkness. The visions in your mind the only light. Slowly you allowed your minds eye to view the box from without. You realized you had become separate. You were without the ability to slip the clasp. As you were outside the box. What was within it had become foreign. Round and round you spun. An infinity of Schroediger's cats mewled. You had forgotten the look of that within. In it's place was fear and anxiety. |
