I am having trouble with the concept of 'Free energy'...

Recalls, Energy is neither created nor destroyed, it can only change form.

Say 100% 'free energy' circled the Globe giving much financial relief to both consumers and businesses. Could it create rain? Water?

I have heard it rumored the next great wars will be fought over water rights.

I think what you are talking about is doing away with greed. Which to me seems rather impossible. There will always be someone who wants something and will step over others to get it.

Utopia is a pipe dream, to my sense.

Coherence, Brain Evolution, and the Unity of Consciousness: The evolution of Planetary Consciousness in the Light of Brain Coherence Research

The coherent electromagnetic field is the inner glue of every system, the “intelligent” energy-information communication that assures a cooperative and synergic behavior to all the components of the system, as a whole, allowing harmonious evolution and unity of consciousness.
page 12

Like reading someone thousands of miles away through an electronic connection perhaps (one not called the internet)...seeing your thoughts and images in your head play out in the "real world" and being able to recognize it...finding somehow that the information you sensed you needed just manifests in a totally obvious way within hours...instead of months or days...finding that it really is about mind over matter...finding out that there is no control over nature except for a temporary "handle on it"...

That still small voice...it's never been so apparent how important it is to listen to that.

...prompted me to think this....

...stucture and fuction.....the feminine structure makes child birth function...

the feminine must be structured to function naturaly within the field and not block information from the field reaching the "other" intelligence forming within....

...this must mean the feminine has a different translation of field effect to the male...

...i believe this makes the feminine more at ease and receptive to field effects than her male counterpart...

.....the conseqences of this are seen throughout history bearing in mind the structure of all civilisations in pursuit of the quest is biased towards the male remembered era of the golden age...the age of kronos (saturn)....the father god.....

...infact the complete memory is that the father (saturn) and his wife (venus)and son (mars) lived happily together until (venus) flipped out and attacked the father (saturn)....the son (mars) stepped in angry ...net result.....

...father left along with wife and son and chaos destroyed the golden age as a result of the mothers actions....

The existence of subtler, etheric states of matter is a basic postulate of theosophy. H.P. Blavatsky writes:

. . . Occult science recognises seven cosmic elements – four entirely physical, and the fifth (ether) semi-material, as it will become visible in the air towards the end of our fourth round, to reign supreme over the others during the whole of the fifth. The remaining two are as yet absolutely beyond the range of human perception. These latter will, however, appear as presentments during the 6th and 7th races of this round, and will become known in the 6th and 7th rounds respectively. These seven elements with their numberless sub-elements (far more numerous than those known to science) are simply conditional modifications and aspects of the ONE and only Element. This latter is not ether, not even âkâsha, but the source of these.

If folk memory is anything to go by, global warming in its most dreaded form is a thing of the past.

The universality of flood myths is widely known, but fewer people are aware that traditions of unbearable heat, often leading to a devastating Weltbrand, are just as ubiquitous. Although many reports do not identify the cause of the steep rise in temperature or the wildfire associated with the ‘age of myth’, others persistently attribute it to a group of phenomena we may conveniently call ‘anomalous suns’.

Generally, the sources trace the erstwhile emission of relentless heat to four solar properties, singly or combined, all of which seem equally bizarre when applied to the quotidian sun.

Firstly, many accounts impute a greater intensity to the sun’s radiation at this time. The Yao (south of Lake Malawi) told of such an incident: “The sun gave way to fierceness, and said, ‘Let me shine and destroy people’.” The Chukchi (northeastern Siberia) told of a series of violent natural events, in one of which “Sun … scorches the people.” Referring to a long time ago, the Klallam (Washington State) said that “the sun … was much hotter then than now. … it has not been so hot on the earth since.” According to the Cherokee (originally along the Tennessee), the sun – traversing the path she follows today – used to kill many people in spite:

“The Sun lived on the other side of the sky vault, but her daughter lived in the middle of the sky, directly above the earth … Now, the Sun hated the people on the earth, because they could never look straight at her without screwing up their faces. … The Sun was jealous and planned to kill all the people, so every day when she got near her daughter’s house she sent down such sultry rays that there was a great fever and the people died by hundreds, until everyone had lost some friend and there was fear that no one would be left.”................

RE: Knife Fish

Notopterus chitala [link to en.wikipedia.org] My cousin raised one of those to a length of some 60cm. It was able to hold it's own alongside a shorter but comparatively much larger and stronger-jawed Oscar cichlid, Astronotus ocellatus.

Elephant Nose (/Chin)

Gnathonemus petersii [link to www.liveaquaria.com] I've kept two of these: one was purchased at about 24cm, was aggressive and reluctant to feed. IIRC a couple tetras met a gruesome fate despite the tiny jaws, and I was also bitten once with an intensity that seemed unlikely to be a product of the little jaws alone.

hmm

The second elephant nose fish I got was some 12 cm and much less robust. A very shy specimen, eventually demonstrating a remarkable degree of personality.

This ended up doing him in, as he would only take food from me. So either the caretakers ignored my instruction, or I made a mistake in leaving. Either way, that fish was always one of my favourites.

Of 140 sites across the western Arctic, there is clear evidence for warmer-than-present conditions at 120 sites. At 16 sites where quantitative estimates have been obtained, local HTM temperatures were on average 1.6±0.8 °C higher than present. Northwestern North America had peak warmth first, from 11,000 to 9,000 years ago, while the Laurentide ice sheet still chilled the continent. Northeastern North America experienced peak warming 4,000 years later. Along the Arctic Coastal Plain in Alaska, there are indications of summer temperatures 2–3 °C warmer than present.[5] Research indicates that the Arctic had substantially less sea ice during this period compared to present.[6]

Current desert regions of Central Asia were extensively forested due to higher rainfall, and the warm temperate forest belts in China and Japan were extended northwards.[7]

West African sediments additionally record the "African Humid Period", an interval between 16,000 and 6,000 years ago when Africa was much wetter due to a strengthening of the African monsoon by changes in summer radiation resulting from long-term variations in the Earth's orbit around the sun. During this period, the "Green Sahara" was dotted with numerous lakes containing typical African lake crocodile and hippopotamus fauna. A curious discovery from the marine sediments is that the transitions into and out of this wet period occurred within decades, not millennia as previously thought.[8]

It is the lifestyle of so-called 'dominant species' that is most at risk. The benefit of moving Northwards (presumably escaping pests, diseases, or predators) will be lost.

The Holocene Climate Optimum (HCO) was a warm period during roughly the interval 9,000 to 5,000 years B.P.
 Quoting: observation

look at this

I should point out that the first God of the Egyptians, as with others people, was a giant bird which traveled on a daily basis from east to west through the skies, seen either during the day or the night, depending on the season. The hawk moved from the equatorial region of Earth to the north during the period of 9000 BC, when Earth first dropped below the level of Saturn, to about 4000 BC, when it circled above the north horizon.

He was identified as a hawk (and had a ceremonial center at Nekhen, the "City of the Hawk," in upper Egypt) and his name was Horus, which admittedly is almost a generic name for "God" among the Egyptians, quite equivalent to "Lord." His movements from east to west for possibly 4000 years show up in the descriptive appellation "Horus of the Horizon." But more likely this is Mars as Horus, after 3147 BC and after the collapse of the polar configuration. The "horizon" at that time would be the upper edge of the Absu, where the ecliptic was located, and with the equatorial rings of the Earth constituted an "ocean" -- beyond which appeared the "horizon."

Consciousness on-off switch discovered deep in brain

ONE moment you're conscious, the next you're not. For the first time, researchers have switched off consciousness by electrically stimulating a single brain area.

Scientists have been probing individual regions of the brain for over a century, exploring their function by zapping them with electricity and temporarily putting them out of action. Despite this, they have never been able to turn off consciousness – until now.

Although only tested in one person, the discovery suggests that a single area – the claustrum – might be integral to combining disparate brain activity into a seamless package of thoughts, sensations and emotions. It takes us a step closer to answering a problem that has confounded scientists and philosophers for millennia – namely how our conscious awareness arises...................
 Quoting: observation

[link to www.newscientist.com]

Claustrum

The claustrum is a thin, irregular, sheet of neurons which is attached to the underside of the neocortex in the center of the brain. It is suspected to be present in the brains of all mammals.

The claustrum is a fraction of a millimetre to a few millimetres deep, and is a vertical curved sheet of subcortical gray matter oriented sagittally between the white matter tracts of the external capsule and extreme capsule.............

Re: X Marks the Spot
….

My verdict, honestly?

Were the ice caps to melt, it'd be harmless, if not a boon to biodiversity.

It is the lifestyle of so-called 'dominant species' that is most at risk. The benefit of moving Northwards (presumably escaping pests, diseases, or predators) will be lost.

Except for nuclear power plants (those operating and not) would be easier to maintain below criticality, etc. above water.

Unless of course we figure out how to beam them off the planet entirely.

The faster people wake up to the fact mankind is a sitting duck on a rock because of those things the better.

Yes, I cry wolf.

Cool chart. 1492BCE certainly shows in dramatic fashion. As does the 3600 years before that.

MACBETH
(to the SERVANT) Go bid thy mistress, when my drink is ready,
She strike upon the bell. Get thee to bed.

Exit SERVANT

Is this a dagger which I see before me,
The handle toward my hand?

Come, let me clutch thee.

I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.

Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
To feeling as to sight? Or art thou but

A dagger of the mind, a false creation,
Proceeding from the heat-oppressèd brain?

I see thee yet, in form as palpable
As this which now I draw.

Thou marshall’st me the way that I was going,
And such an instrument I was to use.

Mine eyes are made the fools o' th' other senses,
Or else worth all the rest.

I see thee still,

And on thy blade and dudgeon gouts of blood,
Which was not so before.

There’s no such thing.

It is the bloody business which informs
Thus to mine eyes.

Now o'er the one half-world
Nature seems dead, and wicked dreams abuse
The curtained sleep.

Witchcraft celebrates
Pale Hecate’s offerings, and withered murder,

Alarumed by his sentinel, the wolf,
Whose howl’s his watch, thus with his stealthy pace,

With Tarquin’s ravishing strides, towards his design
Moves like a ghost.

Thou sure and firm-set earth,
Hear not my steps, which way they walk, for fear

Thy very stones prate of my whereabout,
And take the present horror from the time,

Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives.
Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives.
