Wow. Title says it all.

Thread: Florida rain total... 20 inchs in 24 hours Largest amount in Florida history
Storm system can be seen from space More than 50 tornadoes hammer South
Rescuers were reaching the residents on state Fish and Wildlife boats and personal watercraft normally used to patrol the county's beaches, he said. The National Guard was also on the way.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott said that crews had rescued 300 people.
'People have lost everything'
"It's unbelievable the amount of flooding we've had. We've have roads torn up, water clear through homes. I went to one home where the foundation was gone. ... You saw cars just thrown down a road, pushed down upside down," Scott told "The Lead." "People have lost everything, and they didn't buy flood insurance because they didn't think they were in a flood area."
Scott declared a state of emergency and warned residents to expect more rain and flooding.
As much as 18.9 inches of rain fell over 24 hours in Alabama and Florida, according to the National Weather Service.
At Pensacola's airport, an estimated 15.55 inches of rain fell on Tuesday -- the largest amount to fall in a single calendar day since officials started tracking rainfall in 1880, the National Weather Service said.

climate alteration is never climate warming and it is a tricky topic because consensus tells us this topic is man made/caused thus we have to charge our lifestyle but we are not changing our lifestyle nor are we being encouraged to
odd really
with our global communication systems more and more people get a feel for environment conditions globally and cause and effects being seen also
will our authorities opinion of weather prediction match global observation and experience in our global information system

may first planting at the end of february came up strong and never has looked back. the second planting has always been the most robust. plants have been spouting and flowering earlier and earlier for the last 4 - 5 years in my area. this year the novelty has become a widespread buzz for most. the trend seems apparent in my neck of the woods. I will continue however to double plant.

I'm curious do you do anything special to the soil (special fertilizer, rotations, etc.), water (structured, etc.), or plants (light, sound, etc.) or just leave them be.

Do you see any potential long term problems to growing food in greenhouses? I was at the earth fair and they had a model and explanation of recycling the water and no need for some of the poisons we are putting on the plants (pesticides) by having greenhouses attached to various buildings (office, apartments, etc.) We would be growing the food next to where we are.

Any idea if foods age faster (ripen/spoil) when they travel distances?

Deep inside the jungle of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, near the pre-hispanic city of Uxmal, a team of archeologist from the university of Boston in collaboration with local archeologists from the University of Mexico, have uncovered yet another pyramidal structure estimated to be 1,100 years old. But even more surprisingly enough, satellite imagery confirmed the existence of a secret chamber where the team found thousands of mayan codices, a discovery that could shatter previous views and shed a new light on our understanding of mayan culture and the sudden and tragic destruction of their civilization .......

Dream Telepathy Research Reborn

There’s new signs of life for the study of dream telepathy.

A compelling 2013 report published by Carlyle Smith, Lifetime Professor Emeritus at Trent University in Ontario, Canada, found statistically unlikely levels of targeted dream content in two related studies of college students.

These 2 new studies are a welcome addition to a field of inquiry that is often referred to the third rail of psychology. (That’s a choo-choo metaphor: touch it and you’ll die!)

The New Telepathic Dreaming Studies

Both of Smith’s experiments exposed students to a photo of an individual and asked them to try to dream about the problems of that person. So there are sender and receivers, as is traditional in dream telepathy studies. The identity of the senders were unknown, even to the experimenters themselves......................

I think destroy is the wrong word. Keeping it 'in check' perhaps. Now allowing it to get the best of you.

Emotion often defends Ego. Too often, violently.

To my sense.

Is their 'Self' without 'Ego'?
 Quoting: Seer777

I think you are absolutely correct Seer. The idea of Ego Death has been completely distorted. Ego is the I that is awake, aware, and conscious within material. When out of balance, or when allowing it free reign without keeping it in check, that is when the Ego is damaging. When the Ego is in a balanced state between conscious will, and subconscious will the power of ego can be seen as motive towards envisioning and manifesting the higher version of self.
 Quoting: Pattern Recognition

it feels ego is an unfortunate word because it feels something you should nor possess thus you always have to defend using the word

perhaps we should cause a new word for a meaning we believe that causes practical senses
 Quoting: aether

It's not the death of the ego, it is the burial and then it sprouts into a new. Death is life. The egg cracking. The mind being buried into the heart...etc

I see many people in dreams. Their names always mean something important to me.

Here is one I had on 4/4/2014

I was with Dan Ackroyd in a dream. We

were just done eating so I asked him, "Hey

you want to watch some TV.? He says sure! So we sit

down. I am looking for the remote, but the TV turns on anyway.

I say, don't cha need the remote? He says, have you not heard?

I am the receiver, I don't need a remote. We just smiled.

ask and you shall receive.

Ackroyd Meaning: dweller at, or near the oak clearing

Daniel "God is my judge".

Daniel was a Hebrew prophet whose story is told in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. He lived during the Jewish captivity in Babylon, where he served in the court of the king, rising to prominence by interpreting the king's dreams. The book also presents Daniel's four visions of the end of the world.
