And every day I´m there eating for free and I can barely believe it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57873743 Just so good. Those pro chefs really know their stuff. Are you considering learning the skill or trade? I’ve worked in more than a few restaurants in my time. Nothing classy though. Taco Bell at 15, then IHOP, then some pizza joints in college.. Seer777 (OP) Ride the wings of the mind User ID: 534086 United States 05/10/2023 01:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks. I like pineapple on my pizza and those who don’t, just have to tolerate those of us who do. Pineapple and jalapeños go great together. Quoting: Seer777 I made pizza in college for awhile. My secret is to stretch the dough over the edge of the pan, put the sauce and the cheese all the way to the edge, and then the twist the sauce and cheese up in the crust so it is not just bread. Then I chop garlic and add that to the crust, then Parmesan cheese and parsley. It’s almost like a garlicy-cheesy bread stick instead of crust. Heh. https://imgur.com/jR1rmbR This shows the technique at bit better. Pesto pizza is also good. https://imgur.com/u4j5tms https://imgur.com/DMO6MPn https://imgur.com/YCr5b0Z Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

Do you like to cook? I don´t work the restaurant side. There is the kitchen side of things, and the café side. I´m at the café doing my training to get some curriculum points and work experience in the field. I guess I could cook if I really wanted, but i feel it´s a bit of a chore tbh. To do all the sauces from scratch etc... get ingredients... then a huge pile of dishes. You need passion for it. |

Like commie style strictness. You need to know the laws and how to operate when confronting folks who are under the influence. We had some bartending lessons too. |

I scored that at the tuition. And, I got a licence to sell alcohol too. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57873743 Finland is the only place in the world where you need a licence to sell alcohol. It’s called a Food Handler’s Permit and to sell alcohol you need a license through the OLCC. [link to www.oregon.gov (secure)] In Oregon you can’t buy liquor in grocery stores. You have to go to liquor stores. You can get beer and wine at the grocery store tho. Speaking of, I’ve been alcohol free for over 9 months now. The licence in Finland allows a "person" to sell alcoholic drinks in a joint over 2,8 ABV. It´s not a licence for a business selling alcohol. I wouldn´t want to work a bar late at night tho. No way. :D |

Seer777 (OP) Ride the wings of the mind User ID: 534086 United States 05/10/2023 02:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not new. They only recently made it legal here to buy liquor on Sundays. Legal cannabis and dispensaries are so common it’s not even feasible to grow anymore. The time, effort and $$$ to grow is no longer the less expensive way to do it. You can buy the RSO and add it to a carrier oil MTC and take it as tincture. No more presses, sticky dab or smoking. Is the government weed potent or watered down? It’s grown by locals farms..not sure I’d call it government weed.. An average dispensary is like Baskin Robbins of cannabis. Every flavor and potency and delivery method one could want. I like the gummies in the yellow tin. High sativa strain. We had a bunch of successful grows. Some fails. By the end of the growing season the plants are so enormous they take up a large portion of my backyard. Not to mention maintaining, mold and storms that can wipe out months of work in hours. This year I’m growing flowers. Maybe some veggies but I haven’t decided. Seer777 (OP) Ride the wings of the mind User ID: 534086 United States 05/10/2023 03:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Basically..the Earth has been through multiple extinction level events. One could suppose that fungi and their form of sentience, would want to catch a ride off planet before the next one. Quoting: Seer777 Using humans with their cleverness, curiosity and concepts, it might actually work. Fun to think about. His most interesting premise..is that plants are using us to spread around the world by attracting us through some means..and have since we've had the ability to do so. Same with animals eating and excreting seeds of plants and moving them around. Same with the bees pollening and spreading diversity. Apples, Cannabis, Tulips, Potato. Johnny Appleseed spread apples that were used for cider. Finding a sweet apple was rare. Cannabis spread around the world for medicinal/effect. Tulips for their beauty/scent. And potato because you can grow enormous amounts on small plots of land. Potato plus + dairy contains everything a body needs. Tasty too. Recommend The Botany of Desire. Quoting: Seer777 It's a great documentary and goes into this at length. [link to youtu.be (secure)] Good video. I came to similar conclusion about fungi without ever hearing McKenna's.
