You destroyed yourself trying to force yourself into the role of GLP meme like many before and after you.

You view your world as if you’re owed more than rest of us. You aren’t.

All I see from you, year after year, is take, take, take.

What do you have to offer? Nothing right? Because you just can’t be arsed.

So sit there and keep your mouth shut.

It just seems mountains look like formation on surface either sideway or top of past potential volcano activity or something like that, then over time become "erode" by weather, making some these sharp or shapes in that manner.

The myth of Ragnarök might stem from a volcanic eruption in Iceland in 897

The myth of Ragnarök might stem from a catastrophic Icelandic eruption in the ninth century, writes author Alexandra Witze on her blog..

The post, discusses the possibility that an Icelandic volcanic eruption in 879 might have influenced the tales of Ragnarök, which tell of various natural disasters and the world’s rebirth.

Witz contacted geologist and historian Jelle Zeilinger de Boer, author of the book Volcanoes in Human History, who believes the theory could very well be true.

It almost goes without saying, that few things bring Americans together like a common enemy. Just ask Japan. And you know what they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Multi-generations ago, our ancestors boarded ships to an unknown future in this country. Many of them were fleeing religion and everything that comes with it. People still today come here for the same reasons..

A religion that forces its adherents down on their face 5x day, treats women worse than cattle, and hates dogs. We love dogs..and cats..almost more than other people.

Re: Mad World
weird rant, I guess.

if you can read archetypes and grok the zeitgeist, you will know the outcome of most any event you put the time into enveloping. you don't even have to have a huge amount of knowledge, just enough to be seeing the situation with accuracy. I'm not saying you'll be able to predict future events, but you'll have a pretty high success rate at determining how present events will ultimately play out.

The reason it's harder with the zeitgeist to purely go into the future is zeitgeist is a very PRESENT sort of thing. To project the zeitgeist itself onto the future is guessing the zeitgeist before the zeitgeist has made up its mind. human emotion drives zeitgeist and it's the most unpredictable thing in the world. zeitgeist art is based on the spirit of the times, the present time, not the past time, not the future time.

Using the zeitgeist in the present, all the necessary information is available to you. It's interesting. It's an arte.

you can do a zeitgeist for the past, but it's a separate endeavor. obviously the spirit of the times in the 70s is very different as a zeitgeist than the early 2000s. this seems obvious, but people for some reason maybe don't see the utility of knowing the zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist is a place to start, it's an instant direction. it's not your proof, but it'll get you there.

the very first day of the attack oct 7th - I looked around the zeitgeist a bit and I was like, okay, israel is about to counterattack, and they're gonna be hammered on the international stage almost immediately. I knew there was no way the majority will side with them, and I'm not sure why anyone would think differently - zeitgeist on the international stage is very sensitive to the invaded country, and no matter what israel did or how conservative they were, they were gonna be BLASTED.

Now that we live in a VERY GLOBALIZED society, this is a very different thing than it EVER was in history - the zeitgeist. our consciousnesses receive information about anything going on in the world instantly, from any country, all simultaneous. think about how that changes the zeitgeist, compared to the days where people were passing letters on horseback.

How big is a zeitgeist in the horse days? Very small, impossible to ascertain as a global construct and it would only be able to be ascertained within the community you're a part of.

This new stage of history, there is nothing more important than the information war. For this, the zeitgeist is an incredible advantage. People have patterns of how they play out behaviors, events, opinions - and so do societies.

Surveillance capitalism certainly is the same concept applied to different ends - huge amounts of data being crunched to ascertain the zeitgeist in a very precise means, but not necessarily an accurate means. That's another rant. What I will say: This technology is not fair. The level of manipulation will never be something you can educate the population away from. The tech will always have more capabilities than the human it is manipulating.

But you don't need any of that for the zeitgeist. It's faster to assess it on the fly.

think about this:

the gaza war - names gaza as the protagonist
the ukraine war - names ukraine as the protagonist.

from the very first day, they were already calling it "the gaza war" - before an invasion even happened. There was no way in hell the international community, with its mindset evoking the ukraine war, was going to side with the israeli invaders. hamas even predicted this shit in advance, and the information war was PART of their campaign.
it may not be solid from the get go, but it can absolutely give you the correct starting point in a sea of information.
 Quoting: Skyracula

This was a great post and I know exactly what you’re talking about here.

In the X thread I called it “bouncing”.

Bouncing on the zeitgeist..works. thumbs

Thread: Iceland 'is on edge' waiting for volcanic eruption after giant CRACK tears through center of a town (Page 3)

I don’t think it is a stretch of logic to conclude the story of Sodom and Gomorrah was most likely Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Myths have a way of getting twisted over time.

Pompeii had a lot of brothels..for the sailors and tourists.

Sodom and Gomorrah=Pompeii and Herculaneum.

God=volcano

Fire=pyroclastic flow

That was still like 2000 years ago. Who wrote the Sodom story and when? Who wrote it down?

Until I see good evidence Pompeii and Herculaneum are the logical choice for the myth.

Eruption give warning they are coming. The ‘angels’ knew the warning signs of an eruption.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5543692

Not a lot survived the Bronze Age Collapse. Whole writing systems were lost. People went back to scratching around in the dirt. For hundreds of years.

Was the Bronze Age collapse facilitated by volcanoes?

The answer probably yes.

It was a number of things that led to ‘systems collapse’. That’s how I understand it.

I’m open to learn more.
 Quoting: Seer777

I did some more research on other possible volcanic events of note around 3500 years ago. The number of occurrences is a bit eerie. I am sure there are more, this was what I could find in under 10 minutes. Judge for yourself:

The Eruption of Thera site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history 3500 years ago.

Rincón de la Vieja Volcano is an active andesitic complex volcano in north-western Costa Rica, about 25 km from Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste. Little is known about Rincón de la Vieja's early eruptive history. It lies within a larger caldera, which indicates that a very large eruption probably occurred thousands of years ago. Analysis of nearby pyroclastic flow deposits shows that they were erupted in a moderately large eruption about 3500 years ago.

Mt.St.Helens happened 3500 years ago which produced 13 times more material than in 1980.

Hayes Volcano Southcentral Alaska
1500 BC Hayes Volcano was largely destroyed in its last eruption about 3500 years ago and is difficult to detect, even from the air.

It is believed Chato first erupted 38,000 years ago during the Pleistocene period and last erupted about 3,500 years ago. Costa rica

Aniakchak (Alaska) erupted catastrophically about 3500 years ago and has exhibited much post-caldera activity. It is considered active, and consists of a 10 km-wide by 0.5 to 1.0 km deep caldera that was formed during this major eruptive event.

I did a bit more research, and while I’m not sure it is the same thing, there is a long standing superstition that if your nose itches, people are talking about you.

I am sure there are more but you get the idea. thoughts?

That´s interesting...

Doesn´t mean they all happened in the same year, or so close in a timeframe.

Nice video.

Re: Mad World
Thread: I know you're out there. I can feel you now.

I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us, you're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end, I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to exit this thread and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries; a world where anything is possible.

Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.
