Now where or where is MEZZO ?????
Quoting: WhiteAngel Just sent him a text
Quoting: Simple27 Thanks for checking on me my dear friends. I am sorry if I got anyone worried. Didn't mean to do that
, but it shows what a great community there is in this thread. I just had some personal issues going on last week with my sister that needed my full attention. Hopefully for the last time.
I did try to catch up though and it's great to read that our Earth Empress Isis might be going home today. Really happy about that. And I hope that
NJAG's hubby gets better soon as well. I can imagine that it must be scary to see him in such poor health. Sending my utmost positive thoughts and love to you, him and the rest of the family in West Texas. And more well wishes to BigD, the Lion Hunter and his family and everyone else not feeling up to par.
And Moon Girl, love you very much sweetheart. And pulling that wedding forward to October this year sounds great. You already said yes, so why wait ;-). With your organizing skills, I am sure it will be the best day of your life for both you, Nef and Mini. So go for it!
And of course thanks for all the updates to our Favorite Froggy, John, Arnie, Cousin Angel, TB, CC, MS and everyone else I forget to mention. You are really the best.
We live in challenging times in more than one way. I know that it is not always easy to keep the faith either and for example trust our own doctors when we are sick, especially now and therefore try to find alternative ways.
It is not my intention to start a discussion about it here. I just care for all of you equally, no matter where you stand in the whole vaxx and health care discussion for example. That is your own right and decision and I would never argue with anyone about that.
I just mean to say that not everything is bad. If Isis would not have been in the hospital, this might have ended in terrible tragedy. And let us not forget that we also have friends in this thread that lost their loved ones due to this virus or are still struggling to stay alive, like Granny's hubby. I myself lost three healthy and strong colleagues and friends due to it the past year, even before there was talk about vaccination.
It is good to do our own research and share experiences on what helps you get through illness. That is also a strength of this community. But there comes a point where you can not rely on that alone and have no option left but to put your health in the hands of those local doctors and nurses that you have known for so long already and have only one goal in mind and that is to make you better again. They are not the enemy. They also have seen their share of losses, on a personal level or with those they provided care for.
Please take that into account when you (Heaven forbid) might get to a level where you have to trust on others to get you out of the woods again. You are all precious souls that are needed here, for your loved ones at home, your family, your friends and last but not least this community.
Please stay safe, sane and (get) healthy. And, I will say it again, stick together. Much love to all of you.
