Much of Atlantic Canada hit by major cellphone, internet service outage

"HALIFAX—Many Atlantic Canadians lost the use of their cellular phones for much of Friday, as a widespread outage hampered emergency communications, airports and other services.

Bell called it a “major service outage” affecting internet, TV, wireless and landline phones, with landline 911 service intermittent.

Flights were delayed at multiple airports, some consumers couldn’t use their debit and credit cards, and the TD bank said some branches in the region were “temporarily” closed."

Dutch has a video out already about the Scotland quake. He said there's a volcano there, and that there was a mid-5 quake that hit there in 2014 but was deleted as a "mistake".

On a separate note, he's acting really goofy in this video.

"1. Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh
Few people realise it but the large outcrop that dominates Edinburgh’s skyline is in fact a dormant volcano. First erupting 350 million years ago, Arthur’s Seat now offers the best panoramic views of the Scottish capital by far. The ascent to the top of it is a must for any visitor to the city, and can be done fairly easily with the many trails up its slopes. The easiest route up is from Dunsapie Loch, but due care and attention should be given at all times as it is rocky and can be steep in places. You can even still see layers of volcanic rock. Personally, I prefer walking around Salisbury Crags, the lower fringes of Arthur’s Seat, where you can picnic in summer and watch city life play out below you."

At least 5 volcanos in Scotland... All new news to me, had no idea.

Yeah I had no idea that was a volcano hot spot either.

As far as the video goes, I have never seen Dutch be so goofy. I mean, he's always a bit dramatic, but not usually silly. Also, I feel like he sounds like a DJ all the time now.

Well my work is actively attempting to constructively terminate me since I've returned (started about a month in but now I've been written up for stupid shit when, when you consider all the information, I am NOT in the wrong). It is likely I have probably become a liability to them because once you've been injured, the statistics are that much greater that you'll be injured again. It could be along their line of thinking, and I am surprised. I never thought this company would be that kind of company.

Everything keeps escalating despite all of the "improvements" that I am showing and constantly making. I've started a job search but I am worried I won't have a new one when the anvil finally falls.

It will be the first time in my entire career that anything like being fired has ever happened to me in my job. I've never been fired, never been written up, EVER EVER EVER FUCKING EVER.

All because my new boss just doesn't like me and has the wrong idea and won't consider / won't tolerate / whatever it is I bring up.

I've never missed a deadline, always work hard, and have never ever EVER NOT turned in an assignment.

I have never ever seen such a ridiculous attempt at constructive termination.

On the bright side, I am walking WITHOUT A CANE. And I am bending my knee at 90 degrees ROM. Just a few more.....
